Our kitchen sink drain has been slow and getting slower. After reviewing companies on Angie's List, we called Jiffy Rooter first thing this morning. Dwayne and his assistant arrived mid-morning and cleaned the drain, running approximately 50' of snake through it. What they found was years of grease and soap residue buildup. Now the drain flows like a river. Job well-done, they cleaned up after themselves and were in and out in less than an hour. We would highly recommend them

I've worked with this company commercially and personally great service all around. I do question the validity of the one star posts.

Called a friend seeking help installing a hand held shower head. He recommended Bud’s Plumbing. I called late in the day and wasn’t expecting anyone until next week for installation. I was elated to learn that they could install the same evening. The technician, Tyler, was prompt, professional, courteous and helpful. I knew the brand of shower head I had but unsure if it could be duplicated. Tyler found the perfect shower head and picked it out himself. I love it!!! It matches the bath fixtures perfectly. He even had it installed in under 10 minutes!!! I will definitely be using Bud’s Plumbing for all of my future plumbing needs!

  • Brackett Heating and Air

I originated the request for a quote using Brackets web site "contact us". Within 1 day I was contacted by phone by a friendly voice and an appointment set up at my residence the following day. Bryce Brackett showed up punctually and did a great job of first listening to my thoughts and then assessing my HVAC requirements. Bryce was very supportive of my wishes to not go with "all the most expensive bells&whistles" in a new system. He proposed a very affordable system that also qualified for all of the gas/electric as well as the government tax rebates. I then used his basic proposal as a benchmark to obtain 3 additional quotes from competitors. Brackett's proposal was the best value for me and Bryce confirmed an appointment to my date request. I was not pressured to go with either an earlier or later date. On installation day, Greg and his co-worker showed up just a few minutes late as I am pretty far out in the country. Greg immediately introduced himself, shook my hand and asked that I show him the best way to get to the install site. After a mutual understanding of the work to be performed, Greg & co-worker immediately went to work and I left the job site. I returned a couple of hours later and was amazed at the progress that they had made. I was also impressed that Greg had held up on a couple of items so that he could explain options and get my buy-in before making permanent. After 4-5 hours, the install was complete! The workers cleaned up everything and hauled off my unwanted AC unit as well as even moving the still good furnace out to my pole barn for future use. Greg then spent time going over and explaining all of the already prepared paperwork for my rebates....there was no "we will get the info later" that I have had happen with other places regarding rebates. I was (and still am somewhat) concerned about using an "out-of-town" service for something as critical as HVAC. Unexpected equipment problems down the road "could" cause issues due to proximity. However, Bryce ensured me that Bracketts 24 hr service response is the best and I feel like if the follow-up service matches the installation then I should have nothing to worry about. Looking forward to staying cool this summer!!! I will definitely use Brackett in the future as well as highly recommend them as a great value with a great product! Everyone was professional and courteous

Our toilet broke and we had to get a new one. We could not install it ourserves because of the way the plumbing was installed in out house when we had it built. We called Bud's Plumbing and he came out the next day. He had to jack-hammer the flange that was concreted in our floor in order to replace the pipe and flange. He was very professional. We will use him all the time. We have used Bud's Plumbing in the past and will recommend hiim highly

The Technician was working on the sump system at my across the street neighbor's house. I approached him and asked what it would take to replace the water faucet at my house. He gave me an "off the cuff" estimate and explained what was needed to perform the job, but told me I had to get a firm estimate and appointment from the home office. He would have come over to my house then, but he had an all day job at my neighbor's house. I called the home office and made an appointment for the next day and their estimate was close to what the Technician told me. The same Technician showed up on time the next day and performed the repair to my satisfaction

I have always been pleased with work from Bud's. The same plumber came again. He is familiar with my house. The line was replaced quickly. He suggested to cap the gas line to outdoors since it is not used.

I love the company and Blake, the person who comes to my home. They are very professional and polite. I like the fact that they are not obnoxious or pushy. They give you the price before they do anything. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is good. Further, the put a 1 year warranty on all parts and work

Bud's guy came in and knew immediately what needed to be done, had an estimate ready, and got to work promptly. :)!! They were here when they said they would be, the cost was exactly what they said it would be, and they were happy to explain to me how to use my heating system in terms that I understand. I had been using an electric back-up for the past 12 years. I am finally warm and best of all the system now heats my home for about half the cost of the electric I had been using. They also did a small plumbing job while here and true to their word everything was great! I have finally found a plumbing company that I can trust and will never call anyone else

Mark arrived as scheduled for estimate - very pleasant and informative. Set up appointment for installation one week later. Two men arrived one week later as scheduled and completed job in one day. There was a minor flaw noticed the next day and Bud's was called. We were told someone would be out the next morning. As promised, the next morning, everything was taken care of. This was a very good experience and there are no complaints - we will be using this company again in the future

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
