Phil Woodward, owner, met with us, discussed types of window treatments available, measured each window, and, when we decided on hurricane-style blinds, provided us with a written estimate. He left color samples for us to choose from, encouraging us to compare the samples at different times throughout the day before deciding on the color. After three days we called Phil and shared our color choice; 8-days later our custom fitted, personalized hurricane-style blinds arrived and were installed. All of this was accomplished between November 25 & December 2--the start of a very busy holiday season. Hooray for Unique Blinds! Those are the "facts" about our order. What must be emphasized, however, was the human element in our transaction with Unique Blinds. Phil Woodward provided THE BEST customer service and support I have experienced in a very long time. He was helpful, upbeat and positive, on time or early for both appointments, and was a delightful man to meet and with whom to do business. He did not ask for a deposit on the window treatments. Not until he had installed the blinds and cleaned up and we were satisfied with the product and his work, were we asked to pay. It was a GREAT experience! I scheduled my appointment for pickup with Phil. He arrived exactly when he said he would. He was friendly and cheery. He even brought a towel to wipe his shoes to make sure he didn't track dirt into my living room. He explained the process of how the blinds would be cleaned and gave me an approximate time of return in the afternoon. He returned on time, re-installed the blinds and my blinds look fantastic! The broken cord was replaced and the blind functions as it should. I am very pleased with his service and price! His cord repair was almost half of everyone else I contacted. I would highly recommend Phil and Unique Blinds. He also sells and installs blinds. I know where I will be getting my new blinds from for my next house
