When Michael first arrived we inspected the tankless unit and tested the water to conclude flushing was not my best option. He then walked me through my options for home filters and we decided on a Halo system. Michael was very well educated on the subject and gave me the best value filter for my needs. He installed the unit the next day in less than a few hours and left me with a flawless work of art. I couldn't be more impressed with the professionalism he brings to this trade! "West Tech Mechanical Services (Joe Gonsalez) did an excellent job. This is the best investment that I have ever made for our quality of life in our home. Joe's attention to detail is evident in the care and consideration that he put into the duct work in the installation process. He thoroughly explained to me the importance of the duct work: location and size of the ducts to maximize the efficiency of the system that he was installing. Our home is an old home, and I really appreciate the care that he took in the installation process. I obtained 3 quotes for this job and West Tech Mechanical was in the middle. All the persons that came to our house were nice people. However, Joe's obvious attention to detail and how he explained the job is what convinced me that he and his company were the right people for the job. For a home owner that is considering the installation of a central air and heat system in their home or, any work for that matter on an existing heat and air system, I highly recommend this company as one that should be considered."

"That was fine. They were good. I think it was before summer or whatnot. I just wanted to make sure that everything was in working order because I had my AC go out a couple of times, but they were easy fixes, but I just wanted to have a preliminary check on it before we got into summer. There was an additional price for the part that they needed. When they got out here they were efficient and fixed it. I know he had to kind of jury-rig part of it but it wasn't something that uncommon I guess this time, because of the type of system that I have. But he made it work. He figured out how to install certain parts so it would work, and it still does. I don't think I have any improvements."

Thermostat screen went blank-furnace and A/C wouldn't come on

Chris arrived within 1 hour of my call and checked the furnace first. He found a blown fuse and no power to low voltage wires inside the unit. He then checked the thermostat and found it was no longer working. Chris replaced the fuses and the thermostat with a similar unit and tested the entire system. He then checked my A/C unit for Freon levels and found and repaired a wire that had come loose.

Chris was very pleasant to work with and explained what he was checking and why as he went along. He explained how the new thermostat worked and provided me with both the installation and operating manuals. Great service!

"The access panel on the unit was slightly bent as was the unit. Instead of repairing the installers taped it up with duct tape. The panel fell off and I had to call for another service man to come out and correct the problem. The second technician did a much better job."

"The technician came out, was prompt and responsive. I had used this company in the past to clean the blower in my air conditioner. They were the most reasonable available and they did a really good job. This time, I felt the price was a little high for the job. The thermostat that I was sold is available on amazon for $39.99. I was charged $125 for the thermostat plus labor which was $96. The job took less than 30 minutes. If I was going to pay $125 for a thermostat, I would have liked the option to pick out a nicer one with more features and smart capabilities like wifi, etc."
