"I Called to get an in person quote for a tankless water heater flush and left this job with a whole house filter and a fridge connection. When Michael first arrived we inspected the tankless unit and tested the water to conclude flushing was not my best option. "Brandon came out on a Sunday and looked over the job site for details needed to present an estimate. Within a day I had the estimate with 3 options from low to high, all of which were reasonable the only difference being what equipment I wanted to install. Option #1 and #2 were lower end brands that were less expensive but since the difference in price betwee Option #1 and Option #3 was about $1400, I went to Option #3 which was their top tier brand, Carrier that clearly is an industry leader and trusted brand for longevity. I was installing a SINGLE ductless to cool a standard bedroom size room with a 18,000 BTU unit. The job took a total of about 5 hours since they were mounting the unit in a second floor bedroom and they needed to run the power/refrigerant lines two stories down to the compressor mounted on the wall. Everyone from Office Staff Jim to installers were absolutely wonderful to deal with. You can trust this company."

"How often do you get a very good price, combined with a
contractor that does exactly what they say they are going to do, and they start
and finish on time? That was my experience with Approved Air Conditioning and Heating
located in Vista, CA. My project was a lot of work and Mike Gentry could have
come up with any number of reasons why it was going to take longer. When I saw
him working routinely from 7:30 AM until 6:30 PM I knew he?d get it done. My
project entailed 2 furnaces, 2 A/C units, 2 electronic air cleaners, and 2 UV
lights?in 2 different locations in the house.
I interviewed 6 different vendors?many of them the big names
in San Diego County. Sales people of these companies would come and recommend
the equipment and you never got to meet the actual folks installing. I?ve
learned from handling numerous contractors in the past that you get better
workmanship from owner\operator contractors providing they have experience and
good client ratings. I always check out their truck?if there is no pride in how
they maintain their own equipment I avoid them. From the beginning it was
apparent Mike Gentry knew what he was talking about and did not try to oversell
me. He also didn?t nickel and dime me with changes?he routed an A/C discharge
line to the outside of my house where I could harvest the condensation water
for irrigation. Furthermore, Mike and his son Nathan cleaned up after
themselves as the work progressed. I felt totally confident leaving them alone
in my home. They also applied for approval as a YGrene Contractor (recommended
over Hero) so I could get a better interest rate. His son Nathan helped me
download the APP?s for control of the Honeywell 9000 thermostats on my I-Pad.
It?s sweet lying in bed in the AM and firing up both furnaces.
I highly recommend this company and I will not hesitate to
use them in the future.

Thermostat screen went blank-furnace and A/C wouldn't come on

Chris arrived within 1 hour of my call and checked the furnace first. He found a blown fuse and no power to low voltage wires inside the unit. He then checked the thermostat and found it was no longer working. Chris replaced the fuses and the thermostat with a similar unit and tested the entire system. He then checked my A/C unit for Freon levels and found and repaired a wire that had come loose.

Chris was very pleasant to work with and explained what he was checking and why as he went along. He explained how the new thermostat worked and provided me with both the installation and operating manuals. Great service!

"The access panel on the unit was slightly bent as was the unit. Instead of repairing the installers taped it up with duct tape. The panel fell off and I had to call for another service man to come out and correct the problem. The second technician did a much better job."
