"Danny took on our project, which was to build a home on an oddly-shaped, canyon side lot. We hired him as he had experience building on hillsides as well as with working with our architect. Ours was a very difficult project; from Coastal Commission to City approval, as well as with structural engineering. Danny had a plan for how to access and install our caissons into the hillside from day one. Not only that, his crew and sub-contractors showed up everyday, on-time for our year and a 1/2 building period. We communicated nearly every day via text or phone calls; Danny and his supervisor Scott were always VERY responsive. They were also open to alternate ideas in order to cut down construction costs. We've now been in our new home one year, and can honestly say that we are very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of our home. Moreover, the few small issues that we have had (garage door opener; low water pressure), Danny has continued to be responsive and to send his team back out to assist us over this past year. Overall, DM Building is an honest and earnest group of builders who only want the best for your project. "Charles, his project managers (Ron and Alex), and crew did an amazing job. Both bathrooms exceeded are expectations and job was performed in a timely manner with constant communication with all aspects of project. The only delays were due to us selecting material not in stock locally...not really a delay. Crew was courteous and kept things clean and tidy during the project. After the majority of the project was complete, a cleaning crew showed up to deep clean bathrooms and general cleaning of the remainder of our home (dust happens during remodel). Price wasn't the least or most expensive and worth the price. Would definitely hire again."
