"Great! I contacted Rich for options on a water softener. He provided the quotes and information that I needed without high sales pressure. When he came to my home to install, I found him to be knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. He took the time to explain things to me and to look at other potential plumbing needs. His service was offered at a fair and reasonable price. While I hope not to need a plumber too often, I will call him again."

"Best plumber ever! He unclogged a drain that had been stuck for a year with multiple plumbers looking at it. We have more work to do and will definitely be using them again. I highly recommend them. Ask for Len."

"Al called ahead and was on time. My request was to resolve the immediate need. He evaluated the situation and recommended a course of action given the age of the house and cast iron pipes. He rootered the pipe under the sink to resolve the slow draining kitchen sink. He pulled the toilet, removed the oleander roots, took a look at the pipe with a camera, and reset it with a waxless seal. He shared maintenance tips and recommended future improvements for a long term solution which I will apply in the future."

"This is my second appointment with Bubble Bee. This time they sent Charlie Trent to repair a leak in my kitchen sink. He had to replace the drain in the sink. He also made sure all the pipes under the sink were in good shape. He also installed an overflow tank on my water heater. He did a great job cleaning up. He was very professional and respectful and he is a very nice guy. Bubble Bee is now my go to plumbing company."

"They were on time, extremely curteous. The first time the tech showed up, he discovered I was missing an important piece to two of my faucets. So, he called the manufacturer, and I ordered it. He came back a week later, with no additional charge, and installed three faucets. Finally, I now have three beautiful functioning faucets!"

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

While some chemical drain cleaners with hydrochloric acid can dissolve hair, this method is not recommended as it can also destroy your plumbing pipes. A common DIY alternative is using baking soda and vinegar, which can help break down the clog but will not actually dissolve the hair. The best and safest method for clearing a hair clog is to remove it manually. You can use a drain snake, a straightened wire hanger with pliers to fish out the clog, or have a plumber use a professional auger for more severe blockages.

You should inspect and clean your French drain at least once per year to keep it in good working order. Regular maintenance can help identify clogs, buildup, and damage before they become bigger problems, which increases the lifespan of your drain. The frequency with which a drain clogs can depend on factors like the amount of debris, the quality of the installation, and the type of filter used. If your drain accumulates a lot of sediment, it may require more frequent cleaning. It's also a good practice to check the access and exit points after heavy storms. If you notice reduced drainage or any signs of a clog, clean the drain as soon as possible.

Ever wonder what might cause your outdoor spigot to lose water flow? It's not as complicated as one might think. Something as simple as a clogged or leaky pipe could be the culprit. Some other causes are corrosion of the pipes or lack of water pressure coming from your street.

Vinegar is better for an AC drain line because it’s less corrosive and won’t damage the pipes. It’s also a safer and easier product to use. Bleach should not be used on your AC drain line because it can corrode your pipes and harm the evaporator coil in your air conditioner.

You’ll need to stop or pause the machine using its control panel to start the draining process mid-cycle. Remove the items inside, turn off the power to the machine, and then follow the steps above to drain the machine manually.
