Undercover Systems is the exclusive provider of under deck ceilings, which is a patented system designed to be installed underneath your deck. Undercover Systems Inc. has specialized in this market leading under-deck ceiling solution since 2009. Seattle homeowners know that no competing product is able to match the quality of the material, the clean and finished appearance, or the lifetime warranty offered by Undercover Systems. Made of 22-gauge galvanized steel, an Undercover System can be installed with a variety of accessories including recessed lighting, fans, and even outdoor heaters. We are company committed to treating every customer with the support they deserve, and earn each and every one of our “A” ratings by striving for exemplary customer service, timely and professional installation, and reliable warranty service. Once installed, clients can enjoy this area as anything they image. This could be used as a kids’ space, grilling out, storage, outdoor living room, play room, screened in room, hot tub area, cigar room, outdoor kitchen, or workshop. The system allows for proper ventilation under the deck, as it does not attach directly to the underside. The panels are completely removable for future access, which enabled debris removal or even future construction. This patio cover also protects your home against under-deck erosion, Splash back, and water leaking into the house.

"Had Undercover Systems install a pergola over our back patio. Nick, Martine, Eric, and JJ all did a fantastic job. The craftsmanship is amazing and we are excited to start enjoying our new covered outdoor space. The job was completed efficiently and they did not waste time or cause unnecessary delays. They communicated with us throughout the entire project and gave daily updates on their progress. They were very attentive to our property and took every precaution they could to avoid any damage to our lawn and other property. We would highly recommend Undercover Systems."

Electrical Contractor serving Tacoma, WA and the greater Puget Sound area since 1992. We are honest, reliable and experienced - call us for a free estimate today!

"Worst electrical contractor experience ever. Not that this is unexpected for an appointment from 10 AM to 2 PM but the technician arrived at 1:50 PM to repair a ceiling fan... without a ladder. He looked at the fan on the ceiling and said it was too high and he would have someone else come out... I would get a call later for this. Now 6 days later... no call and I was still charged for a service call. All this and they screen their calls by using a Google phone line and never answer or return my phone calls. Avoid at all costs."

We specialize in new additions, interior or exterior home renovations, including bathroom and kitchen remodeling, home additions, roofs, granites, garages and more!

"I cannot express enough how unsatisfied I am with the ER Eliete Remodeling Services, LLC and the services provided by the general contractor I hired for my home renovation project. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. I regret choosing them and would strongly advise others against making the same mistake. Poor Quality Workmanship: The quality of their work was abysmal. The finishes were sloppy, and it was evident that they lacked attention to detail. I had to point out numerous mistakes and flaws that should have been caught during the construction process. Unprofessional Behavior: The behavior of the contractor and their crew was unprofessional and disrespectful. They yelled at my wife, and constantly said we are to picky Lack of Expertise: It became apparent that the contractor lacked the necessary expertise to handle certain aspects of the project. They made numerous mistakes that had to be fixed, causing even more delays and frustration. Had to pay others to fix their mistakes. In conclusion, my experience with this general contractor was a complete disaster. Their lack of professionalism, communication, and expertise resulted in a poorly executed project that was overpriced and far from meeting my expectations. I strongly advise anyone considering hiring this contractor to think twice and explore other options. Save yourself the headache and disappointment. Two weeks after he left our home, we had a major plumbing leak, that required walls to be opened up, more money spent to correct his problems. ER Elite Remodeling will take your money, and either do a poor job or walk away with project not finished, not take your phone calls or texts, but gladly keep your money. Found out later that license is expired...................."

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

The square footage of your room will dictate the correct ceiling fan blade size. For example:

  • Rooms smaller than 75 square feet require a fan that is 29 to 36 inches.

  • Rooms up to 175 square feet require 42- to 48-inch fans.

  • Rooms up to 350 square feet require 52- to 56-inch fans.

  • Expansive spaces over 350 square feet need a fan larger than 60 inches.

Stainless steel or aluminum fans are long-lasting and have less air resistance. They are best for outdoor use as their durability helps them withstand unpleasant weather conditions. Their heavy weight requires a stronger motor, which leads to more noise than other blade materials.

Wooden fan blades are a classic, durable option. They are much quieter than metal fans and feature a wide range of styles and finishes to choose from. However, they can be damaged by moisture if not covered with plastic.

Plastic fan blades are lightweight, easy to clean, and versatile. There are various shapes and styles to choose from as plastic is easily molded and dyed. They will also deteriorate slower than other materials as they aren’t as susceptible to humidity and moisture.

The more surface area that a ceiling fan blade has, the more effective it will be at producing airflow. Therefore, a longer ceiling fan blade is the better option if you’re looking for more wind. However, a longer blade will consume more energy than a shorter blade.

Most installations take 3-6 hours, but complex electrical wiring or additional attic ventilation work may extend the timeframe.

The ceiling box should have an inscription stating that it supports the operation of the ceiling fan. If it’s not included, you should purchase a fan-rated junction box and a fan brace so you can install the box between joists, where it’ll provide the most support for the fan’s weight.
