DO NOT USE THESE GUYS I had a step in my garage the needed to be replaced. I reached out the company and let them know I needed some work.(Their estimators are bad at estimating)…….The guy came out and I showed him the previous step and said please replace this. I guess it was my bad that a company like this could not replace something to the previous example that already had there. The new step they installed was short and worse then the one I already had there. The first guy did not even attach it to the wall and the second guy had to come out and do that. All together this was almost 600 dollars of work? Does this look like a 600 dollar step. I reached out to a actual carpenter and they would have only charge my 300 dollars. SO again do not go with we honey do, they are stealing you out of your money for half – A$$ work. Very disappointed in them. VERY

Had them do a temporary tarping on my roof for which they charged $2081 and on top of that the tarp came off even before actual work on my roof started and they assumed no responsibility for putting the tarp back in place.
Response from WeHoneyDo.com Service Companies
"We did inform you we only did the initial emergency tarp off which by nature is not a permanent repair. It is a temporary tarp off which can, depending on weather, can come loose. His contractor he chose for the repair should deal with it since they are doing that work going forward. Apologize if there was a misunderstanding."

The plumber showed up on time. He seemed a little confused about hooking up the kitchen sink because I had removed the garbage disposal but still had a vent for the dishwasher to hook up. He did not have the right materials in his truck to hook this up and spent at least an hour at Home Depot buying a hose. I just had new sinks and counters installed in the bathroom so all he had to do was hook up the faucets and plumbing. He claimed that the standard pop up drains that I bought would not fit and that the faucet attachments were not long enough. He went to Home Depot for another hour to find shorter washers to install the faucets and different pop up drains. 5 and a half later, he finally finished and left. It was supposed to take 3 hours. The next day I turned the dishwasher on and when it drained, water came pouring out of the vent in the sink. He had hooked it up wrong. No wonder he fled almost without a word when he left. He was supposed to collect a check from me. The company does get some points for getting someone out there to fix it the next day and they did not try to charge me more money. The second plumber removed the vent in the sink and hooked the drain hose from the dishwasher to the sink drain where it belonged. We also discovered that the drain in the bathroom sink was leaking. He fixed that too. He also caulked around the drain pipe going through the wall because cold air was pouring out of it. the second plumber seemed to know what he was doing and was focused on doing the right thing.

Stay away from this company! They failed on all levels and decided to over-charge. Roger was the only decent person there while everyone else was below par, unprofessional, and un-qualified. I decided to use their services because I met Eric Metzger a few years back and wanted to do business with them. Their initial quote was fairly higher than most but again want to do business with them. Below are the myriad of issues 1. Max the service manager -> He decided to visit the second day and noted several extra hours needed to be charged. When I asked Roger (a very good drywall guy from their company) he assured me no overage was needed. When I asked Lars, he was confused and eventually said no overage was needed and any overage would first be confirmed and approved by me. 2. Leaky Faucet -> The first guy they sent to visit was woefully unqualified and they eventually send another repair person Max 3. Coordinating Carpet Cleaner with Max's visit -> Max needed to fix the faucet which required turning all the water off. The carpet cleaner needed the water on. Lars said he would coordinate and it wasnt done! We ended up coordinating for them amongst the parties. They should be paying us! 4. Lack of communication -> As mentioned above, Lars mentioned he would confirm with if any overage was needed and also said no extra work would be done without my approval! Low and behold several hours were charged all because Max spent extra time trying to fix our kids bathroom faucet without coordinating with Max! 5. Kid's bathroom faucet was never fixed -> Max said to their corporate coordinator (Lars), the bathroom was fixed. In fact, it wasnt! They probably spend 8 hours trying to fix this thing and charged me overage without approval! 6. Carpet Cleaner missed the appointment -> He did have a personal emergency. They sent out a 2nd person but instead of doing the full 8 committed hours, did 5 only 7. Didnt coordinate when to visit. -> Roger did a great job but everyone else would arrive un-announced most of the time. Even when I asked Lars to please coordinate with me when people want to arrive When all this was escalated to the owner Eric Metzger, basically he said "too bad", the contract says 10%-20% and this all falls into that. This is the worst experience ever the lack of professionalism and communication is bewildering. Stay away from these folks if you value your money and want things actually fixed !!!

We have used this company 3 times. Never again.

The first time, they can in to complete a small job a previous company kept cancelling appointments for. They did great, and we were very happy with the work.

The second time, we found out the guy they sent the first time no longer worked there. We hired them to do some tree trimming and roof cleaning. The results were barely acceptable.

The final time, we contacted them for a very large project: a kitchen remodel with a budget of $45,000.00.

The first planning visit was fine. Then there was no follow up, and phone calls weren't returned. A promised estimate was never produced.

Eventually, we got in contact again and the owner Eric handed the project off to someone else. OK, we assumed he figured out he was too busy to take on the project. The new guy discussed our plans with us, and we gave him the measurements using software they recommended. It turned out they don't have the latest version of the software and couldn't read the file. That was eventually resolved, but again they never got back to us with a proposal, plans, or even further discussion.

Eventually the invoiced us for $139.51 for 1.49889 hours (seriously) of "consulting" time. To my regret, I paid it.

I do not recommend this company at all.

Response from WeHoneyDo.com Service Companies
"In total, for planning we made many visits, all not billed for. Approx. 4-5 hours in total. To bill for this small amount for our total time invested did not seem inappropriate considering the planning was going towards a self improvement project. Wish you well on the completion of both the kitchen and bath projects we consulted on in multiple trips."

Results were less than optimal. Walls never finished to smooth, wet sanding did not have intended results, paint missing in certain areas and paint tracked into home. The estimator never came to the home to do a visual inspection prior to providing an estimate.

"[Member's name removed], We, sadly were not the drive of this bus. We started and follow [member's name removed]'s plans as directed and hired to do so, and they were wrong. Then as we continued, we also submitted to you all additional rot and damage as it was found and it was approved to fix, as well as the additional time now needed to correct the design flaw issues. [Member's name removed] also added work beyond the original scope. If it was not for the failed design on [member's name removed]'s plans and the additional work added as well, it easily could have been done in a shorter amount of time. At no time were we ever advised of a scheduled time that someone was going to be painting this project. To date this invoice is still outstanding for the balance. You have not paid this bill... Balance on invoice is as approved for additional work created by the bad plans and additional work requested, as well as the balance on the original estimate. Still not paid... Only payment we ever got from this client is the original down payment..."

In a word, and quot;miserableand quot;. Workman was late, no-show, work not performed as promised, quality of work was poor. No pride in the quality of the work performed. Since that time, company and quot;beggedand quot; for opportunity to make amends...so, I asked them to perform some work at a listing I have (I am real estate professional), and at my personal residence. Eric Metzger, owner took order three days ago and I have yet to receive any confirmation of the order nor has any scheduling been done to the best of my knowledge.

Mr. Metzger talks a lot and he talks big, but it appears it is only talk as the delivery appears to be sadly absent.

I will contact them today to tell them that they are and quot;firedand quot; once and for all!

While it took some time to coordinate a date, I was very pleased with the end results. The contractor was friendly and amiable, making adjustments to my requests as needed. He also fixed an electrical problem I had internally in a matter of minutes, reducing possible additional costs by $400. I found them through Angie's SnapFix. I will definitely use We Honey Do as well as SnapFix again. It was an overall very pleasant experience.

We sent WeHoneyDo a list of things we wanted done (just some basic things that came up in our house inspection), we agreed on an estimate and they sent their employee over to fix those things. He was two hours late and did not know how to fix half of the things on the list.
After an hour of work he said he needed to go get some materials and was gone 4.5 hours. He said our drip edge had a special color and he needed to go to Kent to get it and was stuck in traffic. Well, he worked about an hour more and left. He came over one more time for about 20 minutes and basically just took pictures of stuff he did last time.
Overall, he did less than half of the things on the list and spent less than three hours at our house. He fixed a little crack on our
chimney and attached couple of feet of a drip edge (he said he was a roofer and the stuff on the roof seems to be done well). Other than that, he failed. He tried to fix a faucet (still leaking) and instead of caulking our windows, he hammered and badly patched up our siding that was not needed and we did not want. Now we have to repaint because he did not even bring a roller (the reason: we did not say we will need a paint job… well, we did not say it because we did not want him to mess up our siding).
We got charged over $500 for this! We refused to pay more than our deposit–which was still over $400 and it took almost two weeks to settle this. Do not use this company if you want the stuff be done properly–or hope you get an employee who knows what he’s doing and enjoys his job.

Alex did an outstanding job prepping the walls and ceiling (sanding and one coat of mud), and then painted the 3 car garage...walls and ceiling. Job took 5 work days. Alex was very professional, courteous and friendly. He showed up on time everyday, worked hard and did an expert job. Alex has high standards and pays attention to detail. I gladly recommend Alex and would definitely hire him for other jobs around the house. One minor issue with the overall job was that the cost estimate was for 3 days - another person did the estimate. At the end of Day 1 it was obvious that this was going to take 4 or 5 days unless extra workmen assisted Alex.

Took him too long and I was charged too much in my opinion. He must have charged me for a trip to Lowe's for supplies he should have had on him. He knew he was installing a ceiling fan. But the install is excellent, fan does not move at all when running.

Response from WeHoneyDo.com Service Companies
"Glad to hear the project did come out to your expectations. Every home and fan, etc. is different. Until seen, parts needed are unknown and therefore a trip to the store is required."

These guys are awesome. I would hire them again in a second. The guy who came our to my house was so helpful. We were at the tail end of the remodel, over budget of course, and having someone that could tie up all the little loose ends was so nice. I paid for the plumber for the day package and I feel got more than my money's worth. It was very convenient too having one person who can do a multitude of things that did not charge plumber prices. In fact I even locked myself out of the car at the paint store with my two dogs inside and I called him since he was the only person at my house that day and he brought me my spare key. I was very appreciative!!

The responsive and professionalism of the person working with me for scheduling seemed a little indifferent as to whether they really wanted my business or not.
This was both times last year and when I emailed them last week.
I went ahead and scheduled them for the plumbing work and the person that came in was great and very helpful. The work done was good.I didnt have them come in this time because the emails just kept going back and forth and I would rather just have some one come in and take a look.
Response from WeHoneyDo.com Service Companies
"With small jobs, requested pictures, and scope of work saves the client $$. We then would schedule accordingly."

I worked very closely with Service Manager, Tony, to set up the scope of the work and most of the actual work was done by Alex. Both were great to work with. Exterior painting was done in stages according to weather and to my actual time to do some myself. When I realized I'd need more help with painting called Tony and he'd have Alex out again the next day. Later in project electrical projects were added and again Tony scheduled Alex w/in 2 days of when I contacted him. Tony came to job site each day early on in the work process to evaluate how things were going and how work done was keeping pace with the bid. Tony was very helpful in problem-solving and suggesting solutions as I needed to add projects along the way.

I submitted a review of this company before. When I went in to look at that review, there was none. Wonder what happened to it?? Anyway, I contracted We HoneyDo to paint the inside of my fence in the back yard. The price I was quoted was $500.00.
As the job progressed, I was told they would have to do some sanding and in order to get the paint to really cover well, it would require a second coat. I agreed to the second coat but I was never told that they would then charge me an additional $500.00 for the second coat. I was really annoyed that they charged me $1,000.00 for painting this fence. I can't find the dimensions right now, but it is just an average fence in the back yard, not a huge fence and it was only painted on one side.
I think I was overcharged. I will never use this company again and am very leary about using Angie's List again.
Marlene Kurpiewski
Response from WeHoneyDo.com Service Companies
"Additional time to do an additional coat and also sand entire fence, versus one coat same price? We apologize if we did not work up an exact difference in cost at that time as the project was already in process for you. Going forward we will try to be clearer in our communication. Thank you for your input to make better for all."

It went very well. We're preparing to sell our condo and were on a very tight timeline to get these repairs accomplished before an open house scheduled for the next day (Saturday). At first, it did not appear that the deadline could be met. However, WeHoneyDo managed to juggle their scheduling so they could send Ivan (our repairman) on only one day's notice. Since several of the items were possible safety issues cited on the pre-sale home inspection report (done Wednesday), we wanted potential buyers to know that they had been remedied.
Ivan arrived on time with a list of the materials we needed. We all trooped down to the nearest Lowe's to purchase the materials. When we returned, Ivan went right to work and worked straight through for five hours. He was efficient, quick and did quality work. We were pleasantly surprised that the cost was considerably less than we had anticipated. (The $600 noted under and quot;Cost of Serviceand quot; included $220 worth of materials.)
I would highly recommend this provider and will use their service again as the need arises. They try hard to work with and please their customers.
