He explained what the problems were with the original installation and then cleaned the tile and replaced the grout. He also installed shower bars which will help us from falling in the shower. The owner, Eric, spent a lot of time with us understanding the "look" we wanted and helped us choose the products accordingly. He has a great selection from which to choose, btw. We scheduled the installation about a month in advance. Eric's tile guy was AMAZING. I've never seen a contractor work so fast, meticulously and competently. He tore out the old flooring and laid the tile on day one. Left no mess and hauled away all the old flooring. He came back the next day and grouted the tile. It looks fantastic. It is one of the most "wow-factor" rooms in our home. The next day, the carpet guy arrived and we had our new carpet installed in a couple of hours. Again - a hard-working, fast and very competent worker. Overall, we have been extremely happy with this whole process. Not only was Eric great in helping us decide what to get - but his crews were efficient, fast and do great work. I've hired a lot of contractors in my years, but this has to have been one of the better experiences. I'd use them again. HIGHLY recommended! A+"

"Steve and one of his guys, Jordan, came out on New Year's Eve day and installed our new hearth and mantle for our fireplace. They did a beautiful job! They also fixed some kitchen cabinets and checked our gutters. They were professional, and fun, and they did a great job! They even cleaned up after themselves! "My house was damaged by a water leak in the master bathroom. The bathroom floor was soaked from under the shower and the leak got to the downstairs family room. After getting my phone call, Andrea responded very quickly and patiently answered all my questions and concerns. The shower, the floor, and the ceiling must be opened, dried, and the mold treated for mitigation. Andrea and his team did a great job in that. For the restoration, Andrea and his team had to replace two sinks with new countertops, redo one toilet, redo the shower with new dry wall, cement board, tiles, and the bathroom floor. For the family room, they had to repaint the ceiling and the result is great. I have no complaints. Everyone in his team is professional and I will not hesitate to hire them for another project."

"Our bathroom floor had water damage from a leaky toilet, so decided to replace the existing floor with a new tile one. I met with DJ and Ron, who did the actual tile work, on a Friday and they started the following Monday. The work is excellent and my wife and I love the new floor. They were professional and it was a pleasure to have Ron do the flooring. The final price was higher than the original estimate, but that was because there were some previously unidentified problems that we could not see until the floor was stripped. Some patch repairs were required, and there were some delays while we coordinated with a plumber to replace the lead drain pipe and install a new closet flange. Overall I would recommend DJ's Hardwood Floors to anyone who needs work done on their floors."
