"Pyramid was recommended to us by a friend who has done a lot of remodeling and has priced granite in many locations in the area. She was right--after shopping around for a granite or quartz countertop for our guest bathroom remodel, Pyramid Granite had the best selection AND best price. We were looking for something that would coordinate with existing tile in the bathroom and it was easy to find several choices at Pyramid. They were very professional, helped us make a decision, came out to measure and delivered the product ON TIME. We ultimately settled on granite and our countertop is gorgeous--we will definitely be coming back when we remodel our primary bathroom! Ask for Temon--he is great!"
"We used Samâ s Home Improvement to create our backsplash. He had a good price, and we were very impressed with his subcontractor, Luis Quispe, who actually did the tile work. He understood our plans, gave some suggestions, and was flexible with changes. The end result is fabulous."
"Adrian and CCR did an amazing job for us, and we were incredibly happy with the results. They remodeled our kitchen and bathroom. From new cabinetry, backsplash, tile, to new vanities, drywall, and electrical work, they did it all and the quality of work was excellent. They were patient with us and helped up along as we were making up our minds on design and material choices. They worked quickly, efficiently, and were so considerate that our neighbors even left a note thanking them for doing such a great job of keeping dust and debris to a minimum. We would definitely work with them again and have given their number to other neighbors and friends who have already given Adrian and CCR a call."
"I've hired Omar's company for several years on a variety of projects, from comprehensive bathroom renovations to plaster repair work, and have always been happy with the quality of work, timeliness, and price. Omar is very customer focused and makes sure the work is met with full satisfaction. He is flexible and works with the customer on selecting the right fixtures, tile, cabinets, and other details. I would highly recommend Omar's General Contracting for anyone looking for a good, trustworthy contractor."
"OK, so Mr. Frank was very professional. All his team was very professional, very polite. They were on time and they went far and beyond of what they were supposed to do and did not charge me more than what they said, so I am very very very satisfied with the work that Frank did, and I wanted to thank him team for being so wonderful and such a great People, we don’t get that anymore in America, but he definitely gave me that. And I’m so happy that I hired him. I had five different people that I got proposals from, and I called all of them multiple times to check on things. And definitely Frank. He definitely made this right. So if anybody needs a Plumber, that’s the guy needs to be hired once again. Thank you very much for all your services. And I recommend Frank to anyone that needs plumbing work done Thank You,"
"I decided a few months ago that I wanted to remodel a few parts of my house. I was recommended to talk to American Decorating by a co-worker who had used them and loved them so I called and could not have been more pleased that I did! I explained to them what I wanted and they were more than happy to help me out. After the initial call Jason came out and took the measurements of the rooms that I wanted done and talked to me about plumbing and how it would have to be changed for the things that I wanted to do. I stopped by the office and looked over all of the options that they had for paint, hardwood flooring, carpet, tile, counter tops, back splashes, bathroom cabinets, kitchen cabinets, and faucets. Within a few days the crews were at my house starting work. The kitchen remodel has to be my absolute favorite part of the entire thing! They matched my backsplash perfectly with the tile that I picked out. The granite counter tops are perfect and the new island that they installed is the most wonderful part! The flooring was installed perfectly and was exactly what I wanted. When they painted they were very professional and cleaned up after them selves like they had never even been there, except for the beautifully painted living room that I now have! The basement bathroom and laundry room closet are a great addition to my basement and the quality of work was wonderful. I could not be happier with this company and the work in which they provided to me.
I recommend giving this company a call or stopping by the office if you are looking for quality service from professionals!"
"This guys are the real deal when it comes to do floor restorations. From day one, they came in, removed the old floor and by date 3 the entire floor was completed. They are very friendly, professional, and transparent. Communication was great and there were no last minute issues whatsoever so ever. Price was also a big plus. I would recommend them 110%. They are super awesome!"
"Fantastic experience with Brett and his crew. Arrived on time, covered all the floors and countertops before starting, discussed a few design details, then got the job done in 2 days. Absolute professional installation of my large kitchen backsplash (approx 100 sq ft), every tile set perfect, even the difficult cuts. Cleaned up every area after job completed. Great value for what I paid. Will definitely consider hiring again for other projects around the house."

"Job was well done, efficient, and at a fair price. Through no fault of the contractor, we had a delay due to HOA approval. We also ended up changing some of the project, including a different roof material and a request to install railings. CRS proved extremely flexible through all the hiccups, and were really great to work with. Communication about status and timeline was good. They even went above and beyond my expectations in several instances like working extended hours to keep the project ontrack, repainting an entire interior wall, filling in a minor seam on a column, and repainting our railing that I hadnt expected. Highly recommend."
Backsplash Installation questions, answered by experts
Your floors should be completely level for tile, otherwise you risk damaging the tiles in the future. When there are even small gaps or hills in the subfloor beneath the tile, this puts more pressure on the tile when you walk around on the floor. With repeated traffic, the tiles are at risk of cracking, and you’ll have to deal with tile repairs sooner than if the floor was completely level.
You can let the tile sit without grout. Don’t panic if there’s a delay between installing the tiles and grouting. A substantial stoppage isn't a problem, provided you keep the tile surface clear of dust and debris. Also, avoid walking over less stable ungrouted floor tiles as they are more prone to premature cracking and shifting.
The process takes two to four days, depending on the size of the area and your experience level. The first day involves assessing and prepping the existing tile, while the second day is for laying the new tile. This may take longer in complex areas. After letting the adhesive dry for 24 hours, grouting and sealing can be completed on day three. For larger projects or intricate tile patterns, expect the timeline to stretch a bit longer. Also, proper drying time between steps is essential for long-lasting results, which extends the project’s time.
Flooring transition strips can be secured to the subfloor using glue, nails, or screws. For a more secure installation, especially in high-traffic areas, using screws or nails is recommended as it reduces the risk of slippage. However, if aesthetic appeal is a priority, glue provides a cleaner, more seamless finish without any visible holes or screw heads.
Mortar and thinset both serve the same purpose—tile adhesion—but have different compositions and use-cases. Thinset is heatproof and presents a wide range of possibilities due to the added polymers. Mortar is typically used for bonding stones and brick. Thinset is rarely used outside, while mortar is rarely used inside.
