"We moved into new house and quickly found out the basement had major water issues due to years of neglect (including a clogged and poorly installed English drain from years ago, and a sump pump that while it worked, never pumped water.). Given the investment we made in buying the house, we wanted to make sure we left no doubt in our mind that we were fixing it for the long haul so we could use the basement without worry of mold/mildew for our kids. "We had a sewer line go bad and head to tear up part of our garage floor and front steps. The process of putting things back together was complicated. We had to get an engineer drawing for the new front porch slab and steps, and had to repair part of the walls that the pipe went through. The job therefore had many phases, including special materials, excavation and a new porch foundation called for by the engineer, waiting and preventing water infiltration during many storms in the spring, and inspections at multiple stages by DCRA. Rigo and his team were very patient, attentive to detail, and a genuine pleasure to work with. Rigo also has a good eye for what will and won't look good. By the end, we were in better shape than before we started because of the quality of their work. They are obviously very experienced and able not only to design and plan their own work, but do work to spec of a builder or engineer under a government inspection process.
