"We have hired Ray several times for a number of different painting, drywall, and woodwork repair on our home. He is easily accessible and will do work that many others consider “too small”. This make him our go-to fun for everything related—we are repeat customers. After a upstairs bath leak, ray repaired the collapsed ceiling, remediate the water situation, and installed access panels. He has completed general painting on a previous visit and repaired and painted our exterior to meet exacting HOA standards. Recommend!"

"In the past, we’ve typically hired general contractors based on solicitations at our home. This has unfortunately resulted in more than a few misses. But we went through Angi this time and the pro we chose, Omar’s General Contracting, was definitely a hit. Omar was professional and communicative. His crew was great. On time, very tidy, reasonably priced, flexible, and a perfect finished product. We hired them on Sunday and they started on Monday. In two days, Omar and his crew were able to basically rebuild our entire eat-in kitchen ceiling following a large plumbing project. I honestly think it looks better now than it did before the work. "We had a large sheet of drywall collapse in the ceiling of our garage. Called Halls based on the reviews here. They were very responsive and were able to come out two days later. Told me the price was $90/hr per person on the crew. Seemed high, but figured it'd be a quick job and I needed it done soon because I couldn't open my garage door.
They did good work, but it took longer than I expected. It was  a two man crew and took 3 hours, most of which one of the two guys was just standing there watching. They charged what they quoted me, it just wound up being more than I expected since it took longer than I expected.

"Manny was very quick to respond. He stayed in contact with me during the week to ensure I understood what I was paying for and he wanted to ensure he understood what I was requesting. Communication was key for me because it showed he valued me as a customer and he wanted to do the job. The painters were right on time at 8:00 and did exactly what was needed. I needed 2 bedrooms painted and had some patchwork needed from shelving that was on the wall and a black design on a wall that needed covering up. While I wouldn’t say the job was perfect (there is some paint on the ceiling and baseboards, which I wish wasn’t there. I like even painting without smudges or runoffs from the edges) I’m not nitpicking. There was some cleanup left behind for me, but very minor. Very professional and nice and I’m glad I called! Will probably use again. I have 2 bathrooms and a bedroom next on the list."

"Alex was FANTASTIC! He helped us design our kitchen layout and made recommendations. He never tried to oversell us and was very frank...which I have a GREAT appreciation for! He was at the house when the cabinets were being delivered and stopped in during installation. If you have concerns or aren't entirely happy with something he will make it right as quickly as possible. We have worked with a number of contractors and no one has come close to his level of customer service. He even brought us a bottle of wine and cheese when it was finished:)"

"We have been extremely happy with the MP Home Repair company and their work. We found them through Angie’s List and hired them early in May 2018 to do a complete bathroom renovation, ripping out and replacing tile walls, tile floors, the old tub, etc. in a 1950-60's era home. They had only about two weeks to complete the project because we were on a tight time schedule. They came through with flying colors. They showed up on time every morning, and the project came in right at the original estimated cost. During the course of the renovation, we asked them to do an additional job for an extra charge, which they happily agreed to do. A few weeks ago we hired them again for another job, this time for a partial renovation of a side porch. They replaced the porch posts, the roof, porch ceiling, and some of the flooring planks where needed. We've been very satisfied with their work for both projects. Marco Pena and his crew have been attentive, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. We can't say enough good things about the company and will hire them again for future projects."
