"This is the second time I've hired DB's Plumbing & Drain and I continue to be very happy with them. This time, there were two problems: A main sump pump that had died and a backup sump pump I had connected with flexible tubing which began springing pinhole leaks within months and spraying water all over the room. DB's swapped the dead pump with a spare I had on-hand and reattached the backup pump to the outflow pipe with standard PVC piping. They also joined both pumps to the main pump's larger outflow pipe with a Y-junction which should improve the backup's rate of flow. While they were at it, they replaced the check valves and disposed of a lot of rusty nails and junk that had been swept into the sump pit over the years. All told it only took 2 hours and now everything is quieter, no water spraying around and I have peace of mind that the place isn't going to flood in the next winter storm."

"We received quotes from four companies - Drainage & Erosion Solutions' pricing was fair and the quality of their work & our experience with them seemed too good to be true. So much so that I've waited for nine months to post a review to be sure the drains they installed addressed the flooding issue. The project included installing five catch basin drains, over 70 feet of 4 inch drain pipe and another 70 feet of six inch drain pipes as well as replanting flower beds, regarding several areas, and installing river rock in two of the drainage beds. The drains have performed exceptionally well. What used to be a river forming on one side of our house, now quickly drains into five catch basin drains they installed. In addition, they were very concerned with aesthetics and made the drain areas look wonderful. They were prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them. Also, and perhaps most importantly, their recommended solution addressed the root cause of our flooding issues. Two of the other companies we received quotes from accepted that water would get into our crawlspace as a premise. Drainage and Erosion Solutions actually made sure that wouldn't happen in the future."

"It was fine. They did the job in two days. We questioned if the length of the drain pipe was enough - we didn't think it was actually long enough to go around the house but they said it would be fine. That's where the problem occurred. They didn't go further around the house. They put in box drains, but now there's flooding that comes around the house from the box drains. I'm having problems with my downspout now too. There's no enough length for it to drain out to the side out the house and it's backing up and flooding at the corner of my house and on the side of my house by the last box drain. I asked them to come out and take a look. They sent out a quality control person to take a look. He told me that it's doing the job that it's supposed to do, but it would need to be extended towards the front of the yard. He gave me a quote of $4,000. We already paid $8,000 for the work. I was shocked. We had asked them 3 times if they thought the length would have been enough. The quality control person talked to his boss and brought the price down to $3000, but that's ridiculous. I went with them because of good reviews on Angie's List, but when there's a problem they won't work with you. If they would have figured it out in the first place- it would have made their estimate a lot higher and I may not have worked with them. I had gotten estimate from other people but choice them. UPDATE: 8/11/2017 The contractor has resolved the issue with the drain system. He was responsive and he resolved the issue quickly to how we wanted it fixed. He responded quickly and it says a lot for his company. He took the reviews seriously and he wanted to make sure that the customer was satisfied and it is very important to him to keep up his good reputation being in Angie's List. This says a lot about their customer service!"

"Mr. Lazaro and his professional team is one in the Billion. Exceptionally professional and no nonsense people. Mr. Lazaro puts his entire zeal and zest in the project and goes above and beyond the call of duty and professionalism. I was traveling heavy during the project and used to get reports from him using Skype. Mr. Lazaro would not leave any stone unturned to make me satisfied and at times would wait for me with my backyard digged, open face to make sure that I see, visualize, and mark the spots by marking videos where the backyard has drain pipes buried etc. Mr. Lazaro is highly recommended and as such, I hired his services again for my other home where I had seen some issue with water retention. He, once again gave me an unbeatable price and made sure that he performs the work with super integrity, professionalism and honesty. "French drain was installed with drain boxes, berm installed near property line, sump pump installed into new drain, top soil added in disturbed areas, grass seed/straw over same. Company told me they'd be back to be sure grass was growing plus I needed more top soil and a cap is missing from sump pump line, but had no repeat visit -- this is my only complaint. The drain held up during/after recent big storm. Berm is deteriorating due to storm and more grass seed was needed before storm. Otherwise, I am very pleased. Company owner and workers were very pleasant. He explained process as work progressed. They're a little expensive, but it was a job well done."

After we spent a ton of money remediation the resulting mold, we had to figure out how to prevent more groundwater from making it's way inside. We got an estimate from one company, but it became clear that they didn't know the real source of the water. Instead Jay called me within 30 minutes and took the time to answer my questions. We really appreciated it and it made me sure that we made the right choice. Since the repair, we've had a few storms and everything has held up. The next big test will be when we power wash the house, but with Best Buy's phenomenal warranty, I am not worried. Finally, the crew that did the work were great. They cleaned up when they were done and Hamilton (Hammy) made sure to run through things with us. He was also very sweet to my elderly mother."

"NV's rep, Bruce Finley, was very patient. He initially bid with the standard black corrugated plastic pipe. When I told him that I wanted to instead use white PVC because it would not crush, he pointed out that it would cost more and he didn't think it was worth the extra money, but if that's what I wanted he would modify the estimate, which he did. I had two other estimates from other well-known companies, which had slightly different approaches that cost more money. After thinking about what I should do (and soliciting opinions from friends) for a year, I chose NV. They saved money by having the pipe drain to a flower bed in the side yard, instead of digging all the way to the street, which would have ruined some of my trees and shrubs. The crew did a beautiful job - the back patio with the French drain around the perimeter looks great. We've had a few storms, although nothing horrendous, and so far so good with the drainage."
