"The diagnostic fee to come out was only $35.00 and would not be charged if customer agreed to estimate and work was performed. This customer did not put the correct amount that he was charged. I checked our archives and found the invoice from the job = job cost $328.00 flat rate. Customer informed me there had been another estimate given for same work we performed and that cost was over $600.00 I'm sure Mr.[Member Name Removed] is mistaken with these comments Brinson and Son Plumbing."
"The price for the work quoted over the phone and we had and agreement to the price. I mentioned the price was subject to change when arrived to home if anything was out of the ordinary. Brinson and Son Plumbing stuck to the quote and feel it was FAIR."
"We were hired by the [member name removed] family on May 12, 2012 to check for little to no hot water in the master shower and the soaker tub in the same bathroom. Jeff Brinson went to the customers home on the May 14th and was able to determine that sediment from the dip tube in the water heater caused damage to the cartridges in the faucet. Jeff was able to replace the cartridge and fix the problem in the master bath shower and determined that parts needed to be ordered for the Roman Tub Faucet. We order the parts for the faucet called the customer back and they said that they had to wait to have the repairs completed. The next time we heard from the customer was on February 22, 2013 to have the technician come out and fix the problem, the appointment was scheduled on March 1, 2013 and yes we did reschedule the appointment with the customer due to unexpected circumstances. Between our schedule and the customers schedule we were not able to reschedule the appointment till May 6, 2013 at which time the technician took the faucet apart several times and put it back together to try to solve the problem.[member name removed] was with Jeff the entire time he was working on the faucet. The customer was made aware of the damage done to the cartridge and it was noted on the invoice. When Jeff left the customers home the faucet was not leaking and the customer was made aware that this was a temporary repair and that they would need to purchase a new faucet.[member name removed] called the next morning and advised us that the faucet was leaking Jeff called [member name removed] around 7:45 that evening and stated that he would come back out and check the faucet. As Jeff was trying to explain the faucet repair to [member name removed] he started to raise his voice to Jeff then disconnected the call. Yes the customer was charged $144.00 for work performed. The following day parts were ordered and sent directly to the customer’s home received on Friday, May 10th, 2013. While on the phone ordering parts from Moen I explained the situation to the representative and was also advised that in order to repair the faucet it will need to be replaced."
