Affordable pricing, quick response, no gimmicks, excellent work. We hired Jeff to fix our kitchen sink pipes, he was able to provide us a reasonable quote over the phone from photos I sent him. He gave us an estimated schedule to come out and do the work, and real-time text messages to update us. He's willing to work late to complete the job. He cleaned up the area very well. Has a great personality. And his expertise shows from the straightforward speedy execution of clearing the clog, and reconfiguring the piping. I was amazed at the craftsmanship, and in less than an hour, our clogged pipes had been cleared and we can finally use it like it should be. Highly recommend Jeff for his awesome skills and integrity, he did not charge us 1 cent extra from his quote. And he gave us clear instructions on how to keep the drain clean in the future. Jeff is #1 for plumbing services in our books.

They provided an estimate, which was quite high, and I ended up doing the work myself.

I contacted Brinson and Son several days after we had a deep freeze (and then thaw) in the area that resulted in a broken pipe in our basement. When I reached out to the company, my call was returned almost immediately by Jeff Brinson on his cell phone even though it just after the end of the work day. Despite a very busy schedule, Jeff was able to fit me in within a couple of days which I really appreciated because I was 38 weeks pregnant at the time. Our situation was not an emergency because we were able to turn the water off but Jeff offered to come out sooner had it been. He did great work, not only replacing the section of broken pipe but insulating the pipe and making sure a ground wire was appropriately attached - all at a very fair price. He was running a little bit late for our appointment but called at the beginning of the service window to notify me and to ask if it was still ok to come or if we needed to reschedule. I find that kind of customer service is rare these days and I really appreciated it! I would definitely hire Brinson and Son again!

GREAT.
I first contacted Jeff because my pressure control valve was failing and my pipes were making a racket and the water pressure was turning off and on in fast succession. He came out on a holiday (did not charge extra for it) and fixed it right away. He was prompt, professional, and polite.
Based on this experience, I asked him to also replace my hot water heater (12 years old, coming to end of life). He gave me a detailed quote, we agreed, and scheduled the service. On the day of service, Jeff was running behind schedule but he made sure his office called me and let me know so I did not spend time wondering where he was. Then he came to the house and replaced my water heat. Once again polite, quick, and professional.
On my go-to list for plumbers.

I felt it was a rip off. but I needed service since both toilets in my house were not working. I don't like that they have $75 fee for coming out to your place to give estimate. He took long time to do this job, which I though was unusual. He came with this big binder and showed me all different price for all kinds of repair, which I was not interested.
Response from BRINSON AND SON PLUMBING CO LLC

"The diagnostic fee to come out was only $35.00 and would not be charged if customer agreed to estimate and work was performed. This customer did not put the correct amount that he was charged. I checked our archives and found the invoice from the job = job cost $328.00 flat rate. Customer informed me there had been another estimate given for same work we performed and that cost was over $600.00 I'm sure Mr.[Member Name Removed] is mistaken with these comments Brinson and Son Plumbing."

The work was very good, however the bill was not itemized and we paid over $200 to reset a commode that took less than 30 minutes. The price was a fixed price which was not stated up front. I expected under $100 ($50 for the service call, and $50 for labor and parts). I would only use them if the terms and conditions were better stated up front and agreement was reached that it would be an itemized bill.
Response from BRINSON AND SON PLUMBING CO LLC

"The price for the work quoted over the phone and we had and agreement to the price. I mentioned the price was subject to change when arrived to home if anything was out of the ordinary. Brinson and Son Plumbing stuck to the quote and feel it was FAIR."

I hired Brinson and Son Plumbing CO, LLC to repair the faucet in the tub in my master bathroom. There is no hot water coming from the faucet. They were supposed to send someone out a year ago and each time they were scheduled to come out they cancelled and didn't come out. Jeff finally came out on 05/06/2013 to repair the tub and instead of repairing the tub Jeff walked away and left my tube leaking when it wasn't leaking to begin with. Jeff took the faucet apart and informed me that he could not clear the debri or find whatever debri that was stopping the water from coming out of the faucet and that he would have to tear apart my wall and remove all the pipes to the tub in order to find the debri and that would cost me upwards of $1000.00 or more. I agreed to it and he told me he could not do it that day. I asked him what I was paying for today since my tub wasn't repaired and he told me I was paying for the parts he purchased and for labor. I asked him to put the tub back together and I would write him a check. I wrote a check to Brinson and Son Plumbing in the amout of $144.00. When I woke up the next morning I noticed a slow leak coming from the faucet handles that Jeff replaced with the old faucet handle from the other side of the faucet because he had broken the new part that he tried to use. So I called Brinson and Son Plumbing to get this issue resolved only to be told that Jeff informed his company that there were no leaks when he left my house. I told them I hadn't noticed the leak until the next morning and that it was a slow leak with water pooling on the base of the handle on the faucet. The piece of hardware used on the leaking faucet handle is the used piece of hardware from the other side of the faucet because Jeff broke the new piece of hardware that he was supposed to use on this side. What makes this worse is I paid for the hardware and his services and ended up in a worse situation than I was in to begin with because now I have no hot water from the tub which was the original prolem and now I have a leaky faucet handle which I did not have before Jeff tore apart my tub. I requested from Brinson and Son Plumbing that the leak be fixed at no charge to me and I was told they would not repair the leaky faucet handle and that in order to repair it they had to replace the entire faucet which was very expensive and that I would be charged for the repair and the parts. Jeff called me on 05/07/2013 at 7:00pm. I tried to explain to Jeff what the situation was and instead of Jeff letting me explain Jeff refused to let me talk and just talked over me and then acused me of raising my voice so I ended the call.
Response from BRINSON AND SON PLUMBING CO LLC

"We were hired by the [member name removed] family on May 12, 2012 to check for little to no hot water in the master shower and the soaker tub in the same bathroom. Jeff Brinson went to the customers home on the May 14th and was able to determine that sediment from the dip tube in the water heater caused damage to the cartridges in the faucet. Jeff was able to replace the cartridge and fix the problem in the master bath shower and determined that parts needed to be ordered for the Roman Tub Faucet. We order the parts for the faucet called the customer back and they said that they had to wait to have the repairs completed. The next time we heard from the customer was on February 22, 2013 to have the technician come out and fix the problem, the appointment was scheduled on March 1, 2013 and yes we did reschedule the appointment with the customer due to unexpected circumstances. Between our schedule and the customers schedule we were not able to reschedule the appointment till May 6, 2013 at which time the technician took the faucet apart several times and put it back together to try to solve the problem.[member name removed] was with Jeff the entire time he was working on the faucet. The customer was made aware of the damage done to the cartridge and it was noted on the invoice. When Jeff left the customers home the faucet was not leaking and the customer was made aware that this was a temporary repair and that they would need to purchase a new faucet.[member name removed] called the next morning and advised us that the faucet was leaking Jeff called [member name removed] around 7:45 that evening and stated that he would come back out and check the faucet. As Jeff was trying to explain the faucet repair to [member name removed] he started to raise his voice to Jeff then disconnected the call. Yes the customer was charged $144.00 for work performed. The following day parts were ordered and sent directly to the customer’s home received on Friday, May 10th, 2013. While on the phone ordering parts from Moen I explained the situation to the representative and was also advised that in order to repair the faucet it will need to be replaced."

The work performed was good, no issue with that except that we never got an estimate to replace other lines. The plumber showed up when scheduled, but it took a while to get him scheduled. We were told and quot;he's working by himself this week.and quot; Since the price was (I thought) reasonable for the service call and the final bill didn't seem overboard, I woud have used them again, and actually recommended them to a couple of people who asked for a plumber recommendation... but every time we've called and every time any one we've referred has called, we've been told the same thing.. and quot; He's working by himself this week and won't be able to get out there till next week to look at the problem or give an estimate.and quot; For a plumbing emergency, I'd call another company.

We called Brinson and Son to fix a leaky faucet in our kitchen. They explained to me what the problem was and how they were planning on fixing it. They also informed me that they could simply tighten it with their professional tools and it would hold for an indefinite amount of time, in which time I would then need to replace a cartridge. I thanked him for his honesty and asked him to simply tighten the faucet cartridge and I would call them if I needed later assistance. They were on time and polite.

I requested a quote to fix a leak from my bathtub. Jeff arrived when he said he would and did a thorough job of diagnosing the problem. He gave me several options on how to repair the leak and I scheduled the repair a week later. He worked very hard to use the least intrusive and expensive option. He arrived on time and was done in less than an hour. He checked and double checked to ensure the leak was fixed. I was very happy with the service provided and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I had originally had a different company come out to give me a quote. They charged $50 for the visit and wanted to charge $325 for the job Brinson had done. I sent them packing and called around and had Brinson and Son come out.
From start to finish, he was extremely professional and pointed out any other issues I may encounter down the road. He looked at my entire plumbing system for no charge and gave it all a nod that it was in good shape and should serve me well for years.
While the snake cleaning was a messy job, he left nothing behind and cleaned everything up very well before leaving. Everything he did, for $214.70 was well worth it and I'd use them again tomorrow if I needed to.

He arrived about 5 minutes from the window that he had scheduled. I believe he arrived around 10:55 am and we were told to expect him between 9 - 11 am. He was very honest and professional. He was able to answer all my questions and gave us tips on maintenance of our new garbage disposal system. i would have rated all A's except my husband thought the price was a little on the high side.

He was extremely accommodating with my schedule. He was punctual. He answered all of the questions I had regarding other plumbing issues that may or may not come up later. The price was extremely reasonable. The more things you get the cheaper things get. He fixed my issue so I am satisfied.

Brinson and Son is a family owned and operated business. When you call, Jeff's wife answers the phone. She is also very nice, professional and responsive. My experience could not have been better!
