"They've been servicing our equipment for the last 8 or 10 years. They're fine, they're not cheap, they're no the greatest thing ever going. We go on an annual contract, we got two units. We use them begrudgingly. We know their management and it's very responsive. They're familiar with us and our units. They're fine, they're good. "Installation of replacement air and gas furnace on Memorial Day is a little early to rate work quality but as far as I am aware, things are working well. Mr James Woodfin on Old Dominion Heating and Air was very informative concerning the installation and the equipment. The crew was courteous, neat and willing. They returned to complete needed touches and then again to replace a broken dryer vent they found while installing the lines under the house ( a separate job I requested they do). I have been so satisfied with their work and have asked this company to be included on their regular maintenance schedule for both HVAC zones in our home."

Condensation forms when warmer, outside air combines with cooler air in your ductwork. Trick question: There is no difference between an AC and a furnace blower motor. Whether you have central air and heat or just one of these, the same blower motor carries hot and cold air throughout the ductwork in your home. Certain systems may have separate blower motors for the AC and furnace, but each serves the same function.

It’s never a good idea to run your AC without a filter, even just for a night. The filter defends your HVAC system from the dust, dirt, debris, and other grime in your home. Without a filter, those contaminants are more likely to get inside your system and potentially damage it. 

For washable or electrostatic air conditioner filters, you can soak and rinse them with water. If you rinse the filter with water, make sure to use a faucet, shower head, or garden hose with a gentle water pressure setting, as strong water pressure could damage the filter.
