Fresh Air Heating Cooling & Indoor Air Quality

I Paid $5,300 to install and put in a brand new system, including all parts according to Henry Briggs Property management. Less than a year later, they go back out there without my permission and install a new capacitor saying that was bad and they didn't install a complete new system. They charged me over $700 to work on the inside air unit that they said they now didn't replace. I'm going to need this resolved pretty quickly. I am going to go take pictures, find out what else was not done that I paid for on the last installation. I'm not happy, this is not okay.

Drew responded quickly to my calls & emails.  His pricing was good and there were no surprises.  As a mechanical engineer and owner of several homes, I check over any work I hire contractors for.  Drew's work was high quality, was done quickly and was done with pricing that worked for the property in question. 
I had bad luck in the past with overpriced service and techs with several other companies. Finally I've found a great HVAC professional whose pricing and service I trust.

They did inspected HVAC but not full detailed inspection as I expected since it was too quick.. Typically take over a hour for detailed inspection /  cleaning.

They were able to come out within a few days of purchasing the deal. They completed the repair that was needed when they came on another day. They cleaned up well after completing the work. It turned out great.

I called when the temp started rising in my house and owner himself answered phone.  No receptionist, no push 3 for appointments, no "can I call you back".  He took my name and info right away, chit chatted even and gave me a very quick appointment for next day. Devin, my tech arrived even early and ready to work the next morning, with little booties on his feet to protect my house. He quickly diagnosed the problem of seized fan motor on A/C unit and had the replacement in stock in his vehicle.  He also noted the fan blade was badly rusted and my refrigerant was very low.  He kept me informed through the process and updated me with prices of items and what needed to be done versus what he just recommended.  He also provided the info on the Dominion Power home energy check and had me do some paperwork to permit him to do that.  After completing the repair and the A/C started cooling again, he began the two HOUR process of the Home Energy Check and fixes.  He was in the attic, in my crawl space, checking lighting, insulating my hot water heater. All the while he was polite, courteous, thorough and professional.  He was not eating, texting, taking calls, playing music from his phone, wearing earbuds or hanging out in his vehicle which is what other repairmen often seem to do. He kept updating me what he had done and what he was going to do next.  In the end, we completed all the paperwork and I paid by credit card, and almost immediately received a receipt in my email as well as a written one.  I really felt like a valued customer to both the owner and Devin and am glad to have used a local business.  They seem to be very focused on building a positive customer base and serving the Mechanicsville area well. Will use again if needed.

My realtor attended this inspection, which impressed her so much that she recommended a repair proposal specifying the same professional (Drew Everhart) to perform the repair if I continued with purchase of the property.  However, the purchase did not take place, and my realtor never provided me with the report that resulted from the inspection.  I know from my conversation when scheduling the inspection that there was a pleasant exchange of information and full cooperation in doing the scheduling.  The purpose of the inspection was fulfilled, and I am especially relieved that the price was low in view of the failure of the overall purchase.

Arrived on time, very friendly and informative.  He did a wonderful job.

It is doing just fine. He did a good job, and it's working well.

They came in and replaced my heat pump. They cleaned my duct work and put in a new heating and AC system. I would highly recommend them.
