We had excellent service from Old Dominion Heating and Air Conditioning. He called us within in minutes of receiving our request for service. He was out the very next day. Found the problem went over every detail with us. We had 3 other technicians come out from different companies and none of them could find the problem but they didn't even take the cover off to look at the inside of the Mini Split. Old Dominion gave us a fair price to fix the unit and they ordered the parts and had the work done the day after parts arrived. We can say we are more than pleased with their service and would highly recommend them. They went above and beyond to find the problem. Great Job and very polite.

The tech arrived early and diagnosed the problem quickly, a bad heating element. We confirmed the repair cost, he left and obtained the new part and returned quickly. He completed the repair and cleaned up. He was friendly and courteous and we are satisfied with the work performed. I would hire him again and would recommend him to others.

Great service

Installation of replacement air and gas furnace on Memorial Day is a little early to rate work quality but as far as I am aware, things are working well. Mr James Woodfin on Old Dominion Heating and Air was very informative concerning the installation and the equipment. The crew was courteous, neat and willing. They returned to complete needed touches and then again to replace a broken dryer vent they found while installing the lines under the house ( a separate job I requested they do). I have been so satisfied with their work and have asked this company to be included on their regular maintenance schedule for both HVAC zones in our home.

We were in a desperate situation. My mom is 90 and on oxygen and my husband is on dialysis. Our A/C went out in the a.m. on Wednesday, 9/7/2016. Another company came out mid-day Thursday, 9/8/2016 to work on unit. We thought the unit was fixed; but, went off around midnight. Tried all day on Friday, 9/9/2016 to get someone to fix our unit, no success. At 3:00 pm, when our situation looked dim, we contacted Old Dominion Heating and Air and spoke with James. We informed him of the problem and our medical concerns. He said he would be at our home at a specific time. James arrived 10 mins early, diagnosed the problem and fixed our unit. We were so thankful. James saved us on a Friday evening. I/we would recommend him without given it a second thought. We plan to use his services for our twice per year annual maintenance. Outstanding customer service!! Thank you James!

James was wonderful to work with. He is able to come out in the evenings and also installed my new AC unit on a Saturday...all without an up charge. He is very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and trustworthy. His prices are very much below his competitors. His crew (Ronnie and Chris) are very nice and hard working. Jim was very understanding of my situation. I contacted him from my home in Ohio about needing window air conditioning repairs/replacement for my father in VA. My father has several health problems which are exacerbated by heat. Within 24 hours, Jim inspected 3 window air conditioners, determined 1needed to be replaced, assisted me in purchasing the correct unit, and installing the unit. I drove to VA to be present for this operation. Jim was professional, explained everything to myself and my father, and worked to complete the installation very quickly.
