"This was the last of the 3 quotes I got for a GAF roof with ridge vent. I had talked with two prevous companies about roof ventilation because I was concernced that my soffit vents had been covered up withsolid siding. From what I was reading online, adequate roof ventilation is necessary if a roof vent is installed. Company number one ignored my concerns. Company number 2 said a roof ridge wasn't possible and recommended 15 roof vents This was also most expensive of the bids I got. I don't like the look of these so asked for help from an architect in the family. He told me I could go with the ridge vent, but I definitely needed good soffit ventilation. After getting a quote from Anderson on the roof, I asked for an additional quote to remove the soffit and replace it with ventilated soffit. Because it would be difficult and expensive to tear out and replace the entire soffit, John (Jonathan) came up with an alternate solution - cut a 4 inch strip out of the existing soffit and apply ventilated soffit siding over the existing soffit. This was the plan I went with. The roof was in bad shape and had been repaired about 3 times in the last few years 17 boards had to be replaced. 3 or 4 were free, but I had to pay for the additional boards. Everything was done according to GAFs exacting standards. The crew was efficient and fast and finished the roof in one day. The soffit rework was completed the next day. While loading shingles onto the roof, a glass light cover fell off and had to be replaced. I bought a new one and John was very nice to replace it and gave me a credit for what I had spent on it."

"Roof crew was excellent! Gutter crew also excellent. Siding crew was horrible. I live in a townhouse so there is only a front and a back. Took them 2 days & it would have been longer if my husband didn't push them along. Some of the sales people are slick & make you belive all is included when it isn't. The siding crew left a bad taste in my mouth & will never use them again."

"The crew was working on my neighbors roof and while briefly talking with one of the workers he mentioned seeing exposed shingle nails on my roof. They took pictures and showed me what they were seeing. Manager Elier Flores came out and did a full inspection and quoted reasonable prices for the needed repairs to include replacing the ridge cap. I have had several different roofers out within the last 5 years of owning this townhouse. I have had to have the ridge cap repeatedly repaired. This is the first company to show me before and after pictures along with providing an explanation of why they had a better solution vs their competitors. Highly satisfied with the overall experience."

"Mr. Phillips showed up on time. He was friendly and professional. He came back another day to check his work. He had given me some screws to reattach some siding, which wasn't in our contract. When he saw that I hadn't been able to attach the siding, he did it for me. This was above and beyond what I paid him for."

"I have to say that this company really is great.  Everyone i talked to in the company did a great job.  The lady i talked to on the phone when i first called in realized i was in need of a quick mold inspection because we were in a bidding war on a home we were trying to purchase.  Every hour counted.  She was very helpful and made a quick appointment for us to get teh Mold Inspection scheduled at the home we were trying to purchase. The seller informed us that mold was present in the crawl space and we needed to know quickly how much mold was present and how much it would cost to fix it.  
 She scheduled Aaron to come out to the house, and he was right on time.  he did a fabulous job.  He was very sharp and knew everything about the issues of the mold situation and informed me of their experience fixing these problems. 
the home we were trying to buy was in williamsburg and this company is based out of virginia beach.  Aaron drove to williamsburg from Va beach and got there right on time in busy traffic in the morning.  that is hard to do. 
i could type a very long story to share the entire positive experience i had with Emergency Restoration Services,  I will say these guys are awesome.  i highly encourage this company.  i have already used them at my current residence to check out our crawl space for issues.
We have not purchased the new home yet, but if it does work out we will be hiring them to do the work.

"I have mixed feelings about this job. The company was extremely patient with the scheduling changes I needed to make because of health issues. However, mode of communication was an issue. Kept calling a cellphone, not in regular use, instead of the landline or the preferred e-mail. Installation was timely, as we had the ice storm soon after, it was also a one-man job and I was amazed at the job he did. He was very professional always measuring twice and sometimes more than that before cutting anything, as despite all the measurements done, the inside core of the door frame needed to be trimmed for the unit to fit. Not sure if that is why once it warmed up, first one-side and now the other side, is not a tight as when originally installed. The also is now an issue with the interior frame, the mitered seam at the top of the door has separated. Another issue was this door was supposed to share a key with the front door as both were Schlage locks and can be rekeyed. A copy of the key was provided prior to the job. This did not happen, nor did the copy come back the day of the install, had to wait for it to be mailed to me. The company tried to rectify both problems, the loosening and they key issue, but not happy with their solutions, as one requires me to complete the job, the other is aesthetic... lack of symmetry, no longer smooth frames on both sides . I like the product's overall appearance, and would repeat the business to ensure uniformity, but given the price, I did expected better. Also would not advise using Mosaic, their finance group. I have issues with a company that mails their statement 4-days after the payment is due, even if 12-months same as cash."

"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"Our is 2.5 storey and steep roof. Owner visited and without getting on roof told me that you need to replace 2 flashings. The house is 9 years old and according to him ( I am not sure) it is better to replace flashing after 10-12 years any way. I think flashing should have same about 30 years life of roof. However, I accepted the recommendation as cost was $150. Also, I don't think they inspected or did anything on other side of the roof. He sent Brian in the following week to carry out work. Brian is really hardworking honest guy. He spent about 4 hours on roof to replace flashing and nail down singhles on one side of roof. I was not happy since they didn't even look at other side of roof. Since my $200 +79 was worth their effort of 4 hours I am OK with the service provided. However, I felt that they are giving this deal to generate more business. and chnging of flushing was not necessary. Anyway I was happy with Brian and hence I am giving A other wise I would have given B."
