In addition Bill recommended some maintenance on two chimneys to reattach some flashing and new collars around four roof vents. The nail caulking didn't fix the leak in roof. A reassessment discovered a "soft" spot in the roof and a J- channel that was not carrying water away but banking it against the side of the house. Douglass manufactured a nifty little metal dam that he placed behind the J channel to carry water away from the house. After replacing plywood and shingles in "soft" spot ,a water test of the roof proved the recalcitrant leak of maybe 10 years or more was finally fixed at a reasonable price. Also, good to get the maintenance of chimneys and vent collars."
