"I was quoted for smoke remediation services. I discussed the process with the estimator and the steps that we need to take to clean the space. the workers were punctual and professional. Unfortunately, when the final bill arrived it was $1500 more than we agreed to and their explanation was that they left some services off the quote that they performed. This should have been explained before the started the new services. It is completely unacceptable to charge this much extra money without first consulting with the homeowner"

"JT of Dragon Ridge performed a Home Inspection and Radon Testing of a SFH in Fairfax, VA. JT arrived before I did, and was already examining the exterior of the property. While we waiting for my realtor to arrive, he grabbed a ladder and did a complete inspection of the roof (not all inspectors do this). Once we got inside, he explained the processes and we began. I shadowed him throughout the whole processes, and it was a wonderful experience. He was very thorough and knowledgeable, and was always willing to provide complete and educational answers about both the good and the bad he found. We got the report later that evening, and it was well written, with plenty of pictures of any deficiencies. He also performed a Radon test, and reported the results a few days later. I spoke to him over the phone about the findings, and he was able to discuss in detail the methodology he used, and the meanings of the testing numbers. Overall, I would highly recommend JT and Dragon Ridge."

While CSI wasn't the cheapest on our list of home inspection and radon testing quotes, the cost was more than reasonable for the level of service that we received. Ron, our home inspector, was fantastic! He arrived early, and I don't think he could have been more thorough than he was! He was very friendly and personable, and was more than willing to answer our questions during the inspection. He went through the entire home with a fine toothed comb! He pointed out defects that he found, and explained things in detail. He also highlighted the positive things he found. Used a drone to inspect the roof and chimney, and thermal imaging to check for hidden moisture. I feel like we have an excellent idea of the condition of the property we are buying, which has done a lot in making us feel more comfortable! The report we receiced within 24 hours was professional and clearly written with appropriate photos attached. "A two-man team worked very efficiently to remove each vent cover and vacuum inside the vent openings throughout the townhouse. One man removed the vent covers while the other man vacuumed inside the vent openings. No problems with how they worked but I think there are other companies who perform a more thorough cleaning of ductwork using other methods. This company did a superficial cleaning and worked very quickly. In and out within an hour.

"Once the work was finally scheduled, it was done very well.  The mechanics were conscientious about cleaning up after them selves, and did very good, professional job. (though one did leave his drywall square here!)  The problem with the experience was with their office/scheduling.   It took them nearly 30 days to respond to our repeated request to schedule the work after we purchase the Big Deal, and only after contacting Angie's List, did we finally hear back from them.  Once we finally got their office on board, the workers were great.
