"The day the tile wall in my master bathroom collapsed when I leaned on it turned out to be my lucky day—it led me to Joe Maxwell and Tile & Grout Solutions, Inc. Joe and his installer Kiki (a tile genius!) built a beautiful walk-in shower where the tub used to be. That shower became what was until recently the best-built part of the house—now it is joined by the gorgeous porcelain tile floors throughout our downstairs and on our stairs! Joe was a delight to work with from the very start. His estimates were thorough, and he explained every step in the installation process, including the timing and the materials needed. Joe, Kiki, and their assistant tiler Leo were meticulous in their work, and they adapted adroitly to the unexpected—such as when they pulled up some old tile and found a hole through the slab with a water pipe running through it! The only reason there wasn’t a fountain in my entryway that day is because of Joe’s and Kiki’s ears: before pulling up the old tile, Joe happened to drop something on the tile covering the hole. When the thing hit the tile, it went “plink” instead of “thunk.” Joe and Kiki looked at each other in alarm—“plink” indicated a hollow spot under the tile where it should be solid. So, instead of using a jackhammer to pull up the tile, they gently used a hammer and scraper. Fortunately, that hole was the only surprise, and the rest of the job went smoothly. Every evening, my husband and I come home and remark on how beautiful our floors are—we are thrilled! We hope Joe and Kiki can put up with us when it comes time to tile our upstairs! "I paid Austin Dustless LLC to prep my concrete slab for a tile install and they did an inferior job--paint, adhesive and thinset were still on the surface. Afterwards, I contacted Trey and he did the job right. I wish that I had contacted him to begin with and I will certainly hire him again when I tile the rest of my house. He's a good, honest and hardworking man."

"Everyone from the owner to the crew were courteous and stayed on schedule. The installation crew moved and replaced all of the heavy furniture being very careful with each piece. You never know what kind of detail will be adhered to with a new contractor but they made sure that every detail was covered before leaving the job. I cannot compliment enough of the craftsmanship that the tile installers instilled in each room. They did a magnificent job and made the edges of each piece fit every angle and curve like a presidential palace. "We just needed to have a small laundry room retiled because the tile had become cracked after just 4 years in a new build. I emailed them and told them what I was looking for. They sent me samples over email and I picked the tile and grout color. They sent me an estimate, I paid my deposit online, set up install appt. They showed up on time, completed in 1 day, paid my remainder online, and they did a much better job then our builder had done. Exactly what we had wanted. Hard to find someone that will take on a small job, but they gladly did. I had to pay a minimum $ amount for the installation, but so well worth it."

"I hired ruined for a very unique project. I had a collection of antique tiles from a farmhouse on my grandparents ranch that were probably over 50 years old. I plan to use them in a new home we are building. I needed help cleaning the grout off the back and sides of the tiles and cleaning, and re-sealing the top of these cement tiles. Reuben pays great attention to detail and does what he says he will do. He stayed in close contact via text and photos to make sure I was comfortable that the process was going smoothly.
