The sales man went on vacation shortly after we paid for the hardwoods and installation and turned us over to someone in house who didn't always respond to my calls promptly. Regarding the carpet pad we wish we had picked a more premium higher grade pad but the salesman acted as if the medium grade would be cushy and it's not as plush as we prefer and gladly would have paid more for the plush pad. "The first crew they sent was disastrous. They used a jack hammer to remove existing tile and did not tape off area. Dust went everywhere including the upstairs and vents. The first crew got some of the floor layer but it had to be pulled up. Another two people came in and started over. The floor was never leveled so now I have areas that clearly show that. The baseboards were not prepared correctly because the paint is peeling off and bubbling and some staples are now showing as the paint that covered them has worn off. . As time has gone by, these imperfections have become more and more noticeable. They are only as good as the contractors they hire."
