EEI Engineering & Inspections

I hired EEI to inspection the removal of a half bath wall to install a shower addition. I paid $825 for inspection and report. My bath was inspected by a company representative on November 19, 2024. I have not received a report and my phone calls and emails have been ignored. I had to hire another engineer to pass inspection and complete the project.

Jorge is a responsible engineer who takes care of our project on removing a load-bearing wall from our home. Though we had to stall the project at our side, he completed his job well and took care of the communication with us.

Hired EEI Engineering to perform structural analysis and make recommendations for bathroom remodel involving removal of a structural wall and installation of a large freestanding tub. Jorge Aguas did the analysis, he was personable and professional, though the process. His work was meticulously performed and the recommendations were very clear. Overall very pleased with the experience. Would definitely recommend this company.

I had some concerns about my house structure and foundation. Jorge Aguas was the engineer to do the structural inspection. He was very professional and details oriented. He thoroughly inspected the structure and foundation, and gave me some good suggestions. I would highly recommend him.

Our structural Inspector was Jorge Aguas. He was extremely detail oriented with his inspection of a load bearing wall that was opened up. He did a thourough inspection underneath our home and he was very knowledgeable in regards to the new codes and standards and explained in detail to us how it needed to be in order to be safe. Very pleasant guy to work with and the customer service of EEI is outstanding. They truly care about their customers! Would highly recommend them!

Jorge was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about structural design and repair. He thoroughly inspected the foundation, analyzed the data and came up with the most effective solution. Jorge was a pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of engineering services.

Do not hire EEI for home purchase inspections!! They completed a due diligence structural inspection for us given very specific concerns, we had and gave us assurances of no issues in a verbal report, but then did not deliver the written report for weeks, and only then after we made multiple requests directly to the Owner. Meanwhile, relying on EEI verbal report, we had to go ahead and close on the house purchase. Then, when they finally delivered the written report weeks late, to our shock and amazement the report identified several major structural issues and recommended extensive repairs, including helical piering! A total contradiction of the verbal report!! The Seller was willing to pay for any structural repairs needed, but EEI completely failed us here! We will now have to pay for these structural repairs out of our own pocket. Moti KC, the owner, admits this EEI failure, but still refuses to accept any financial responsibility whatsoever. He said he would refund the fee, but after many weeks has not done so. Also will not respond to emails. Zero professional ethics or personal integrity!! Do not hire EEI or trustMoti KC!!!

Moti was really great to work with! He explained his finding and how to remediate the issues identified. We received the report with a couple of days and everything was clearly laid out.
