"We hired Groundworks (formerly Baker?s Waterproofing) for a $20,000 basement waterproofing project that was promised to be fast, dust-free, and high-quality. Instead, our home was left coated in concrete dust, parts of the job were rushed, and unsafe wiring still powers our sump pump. Promised electrician service has yet to happen. Three months later, the $10,000 filtration system is still unusable. This project has cost us significant time, caused stress for our family, and left us with ongoing safety concerns. We cannot recommend this company based on our experience. Although one middle manager tried to help and arranged partial repairs, upper management ignored most issues. Three months later, the air filtration system remains unusable, electrical hazards persist, and no restitution has been made. What an exhausting mistake at a deeply personal cost. "

"I regret giving over $80k to this contractor. Jim, Chase and all others did shotty work in my home and now their work needs to be redone by a professional. Even after things stopped working I called them back and no one came out or contacted me to fix it. My window frames and baseboards were installed improperly as well as my electrical. My flooring is lifting and new stairs installed weren’t even nailed in properly, my husband nearly broke his hip on the stairs. I wish I could take it all back and never would’ve trust them."

I had them over to clean my gutters and I witnessed ladders slamming against the side of my house and they tore one of the edges from the corner of my roof with their step ladder. "After a number of years of using this company for various chimney needs on two 100 year old fireplaces we are done. Their prices are very high and advice has spotty resulting in redo’s (at our expense) on numerous occasions, still, we hung in there. THEN the latest issue was a faulty damper that they had installed a few years ago. Constant problems ensued, requiring multiple service calls every year. The latest came two days after the last $800, chimney cleaning when the damper once again stuck then finally opened only half way. I asked for a final resolution as this could not continue. The response by the owner Mr. Beckthorn, was condescending , accusatory, rude and insulting, as if he was talking to a petulant child. He further informed me that if MY attitude didn't improve he was going to tell us to find another contractor. His final comment “if you have a real solution then propose it, otherwise, let me work”. I did .. and fired him - I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY."

"Work actually done was patching of potholes and resurfacing of some community roads. Warner Paving & Excavating, LLC, has done work in our community every year since 2018. In addition to asphalt work, they have also done culvert pipe replacement and ditch line work. They are top-notch and do what they say they will. They communicate well and take the time to treat our community assets as they were their own. Highly recommend."
