"We needed some plumbing moved at the beginning of our kitchen remodel and Nick completed the work perfectly in a very tight time window. He gave us an honest range of options and costs for the work we needed done, and he completed the work on time. We called him back to install our dishwasher and finish hooking up the sink, etc. and he did this work in the same timely and professional way he did the first part. I'll never call another plumber, I can't recommend Pacific Crest enough."

"Grumpy's Drains was the only company who could get us on their schedule within a week. A half hour before our appointment time, Keith called to let me know he was on his way and then showed up exactly on time. My husband had tried to snake the drains multiple times with no success. Keith was able to clean the clog out of the tub in less than 10 minutes (water balloon and hair clog). He then went to work on the pedestal sink. That was a much more difficult clog while working in a tight space. Keith was cheerful, funny and kind the entire time. The first clog cost a flat $178 and the additional drain was $88. It was money well spent and I would absolutely call on this company again in the future."

"All work was done well and efficiently. Unprompted, Kent noted a kitchen sink drain deficiency during the proposal phase that explained drain problems we had experienced. Proposal pricing was in line with the lowest submittals. Simpson was pleasant to deal with, punctual, and addressed my proposal questions promptly. Simpson Plumbing was a very good choice for my plumbing projects."

"I needed to have a new faucet installed in the kitchen since mine was leaking for some time and also needed to have the drain under the sink replaced since I have a double sink and the water backed up when running garbage disposal David came a little earlier than scheduled which I was happy about he went right to work installing new faucet and a new pipe under the sink finished under an hour. He was very courteous and professional. I would definitely use All County again and recommend them .

"The work was completed in less time than estimated and the installation was of high quality.A small amount of plaster dust from removing sheet rock covered our counters and window blinds but this was a minor inconvenience as they did a fairly thorough clean up of the work area."

"We highly recommend this company! We couldn't be happier to have found such a capable company as Ecowater. They were not only prompt, thorough and clear on our initial water diagnosis but they helped to educate us as well. Aaron, in Sales, was extremely good. Part water geek part doctor he seemed genuinely interested in helping us end our water troubles, such as the orange gooey scourge that had been plaguing our system and preventing us from comfortably enjoying a shower or a simple drink. His diagnosis was spot on and we now have amazing water and being a rural property, this is important because finding competent service people let alone ones that want a long term relationship is difficult for most but as a rural home it is compounded in that most don't wish to go beyond the initial visit. Ecowater stressed that their commitment went beyond our install and offered automatic send services for our supplies which we find a smart service for our needs.

On install day, Dave and Ryan came. They were again prompt, thorough and clear on what they were going to do offering to answer any questions. They were methodical and courteous. We needed a large stainless steel holding tank filled with standing water emptied in our pump house, and though the pipe burst on Ryan showering him and the pump house with goodness knows what it was done. So that we could finally drink our water we had a reverse osmosis system installed and it by far is worth every dime because we now have the best drinking water and can stop buying bottled. The savings is huge. Our water to our fridge proved another challenge when it wouldn't work after it was connected. Dave troubleshot it as best he could but the brand was not one he was familiar with and I couldn't find the manual to assist so the decision was made to call/email in a couple of days to see if it cleared up it didn't. Now it should be noted that Ecowater chose to forgo installing the manufacturers filter parts for their own which in the end became the reason it didn't work but no worries, they fixed it! I emailed Aaron the manual downloaded from the manufacturers site and he and Dave combed it for answers even phoning French Canadian Customer Service on our behalf - now I ask what company does this? Ecowater could teach other companies about what great customer service and support looks like because they are and quot;itand quot;. A few days later, Aaron and Dave emailed us to come out with a solution to our problem. We scheduled a visit and poof! done the original equipment was installed and we now have perfect water at our fridge and ice too! Finally, Aaron gave us a free product to clean our water ring stains - it worked beautifully for sinks and shower areas. We can't thank Ecowater enough!! Great folks!

"Peter and his entire team at Pacific Northwest Cabinetry did a fabulous job building and installing the new cabinets in our kitchen remodel. Throughout the entire process, our expectations were consistently exceeded. Working with their designer, Kelsey, was so easy -- she was able to quickly & precisely modify drawings, provide additional details, and work with other trades (e.g. plumber & electrician that needed exact measurements). The installation team, Aaron & Mike, were top-notch: they showed up on time, were great guys to be with, and best of all are really master woodworkers. The painting team, led by John, were amazing with the quality of caulking and painting being second to none (to my surprise the cabinets were installed as bare wood, and then caulked, finished and painted in place; however, the taping, masking, screening, etc. for over-spray were excellent with zero problems). And at the end of each day, Peter would send an email with photos of the work-in-process, outlining the day's accomplishments and work schedule for the next day. Really remarkable customer service and attention to detail. We looked at many alternatives for kitchen cabinets -- from do it yourself to completely outsourced. Pacific Northwest was the best value we found, and certainly the best to work with. I can honestly say Peter and his team are one of the best businesses I've had the pleasure of ever working with!"

Sink Installation questions, answered by experts

The time it takes to install a sink depends on whether you hire a professional or do it yourself, as well as the complexity of the job. A professional plumber can typically install a sink in 1 to 4 hours, with most routine jobs taking around 1 to 2 hours. However, more complicated installations will take longer. Projects that involve rerouting plumbing, installing an under-mount sink, or making countertop modifications can take a full day. Installing a sink with a prefab vanity could also stretch the project to 6 to 8 hours. If you plan to install the sink yourself, you should set aside 4 to 6 hours, though it could take longer. It's also recommended to have a friend help, especially if you are working with a heavy sink made of a material like porcelain.

Costs depend on sink type, labor, plumbing modifications, and whether additional fixtures need upgrading.

If you know the job is going to be extensive (and you don’t like surprises), hiring a Roto-Rooter specialist may make sense for you. You’ll know how much you’re going to pay right away.

That said, hiring the best plumber isn’t solely about price. If you've worked with a plumber you trust before or have a list of plumbing services you need tackled at your home, working with a plumber might be a better choice for you.

Yes, you can install an undermount sink with laminate. Installing an undermount sink with laminate countertops requires a superior adhesive to keep moisture away from the particleboard within the countertop. An undermount sink offers better hygiene since there’s no sink rim promoting bacteria growth, offers a streamlined appearance, and makes wiping away messes a breeze.

DIY is not recommended for commercial settings due to safety and code compliance. Hire licensed professionals.
