A half hour before our appointment time, Keith called to let me know he was on his way and then showed up exactly on time. My husband had tried to snake the drains multiple times with no success. Keith was able to clean the clog out of the tub in less than 10 minutes (water balloon and hair clog). He then went to work on the pedestal sink. That was a much more difficult clog while working in a tight space. Keith was cheerful, funny and kind the entire time. The first clog cost a flat $178 and the additional drain was $88. "This is our one-and-only bathroom in the house, but Charlie made it easy for us to live through the remodel.  It only took about 2-3 weeks from the beginning to the end of construction.  Charlie and the crew were very respectful, clean and conscientious so as not to disturb the rest of our living space during the project.

Everything in the new bathroom functions so well. We're so happy with the quality of work and attention to detail. Charlie's advice to install a built-in soap cubby, a heated floor, motion sensing lights at floor/ceiling, a motion sensing flush toilet, and even a hidden medicine cabinet that comes out of the dead space behind the shower valve.  We never would have thought of these details and now we love using them everyday in this new bathroom.  

We are happy with not only all the functionalities of the bathroom, but also all the design choices.  Since we have a very small space to work with we have chosen light colors for all the materials, and it makes the space look much bigger than it is.  Charlie has helped us through the process of choosing materials.  When we first chose a floor tile that may have been too slick when wet, for example, he has informed us that and suggested something else that's less slick but just as pretty.  I love taking photos of my artwork in the new bathroom - it gives a clean look with always ample amount of light.  

We are extremely happy wth the new bathroom!  We couldn't have asked for it to turn out any better.  Absolutely the best thing we've ever done to our house!

"I needed to have a new faucet installed in the kitchen since mine was leaking for some time and also needed to have the drain under the sink replaced since I have a double sink and the water backed up when running garbage disposal David came a little earlier than scheduled which I was happy about he went right to work installing new faucet and a new pipe under the sink finished under an hour. "First visit: Ryan came to see what work would be needed. Gave recommendation for water heater as well as 'booster' to provide more hot water. Did not go into crawl space under house to investigate bathtub plumbing needs. Explained steps we needed to take to prepare bathroom and floor for installation. (Total visit: almost an hour.) Second visit: Ryan performed jobs 2 and 3 easily and efficiently. Replaced earthquake straps on water heater; they had not been installed properly 10 years ago. Finally entered crawl space and realized he would need a second person to do plumbing bathtub hookup from below and above floor at same time. Arranged for a 3rd visit with an apprentice a week later. Third visit: Ryan and helper cut waste line and installed branch line to new tub location, plus install new water supply lines for tub as well as hook up tub to new branch line. Worked efficiently and thoroughly. [NOT MP Plumbing's fault: hose bib had hidden damage which began leaking a few days later; Seth called and explained function and design of hose bib, but when he was informed that it was still dripping at end of explanation, he immediately said something was wrong and he'd be by in 20 minutes. Arrived quickly (forth visit), removed part and discovered mis-manufactured part. Replaced immediately, and made note that it was too soon to have been our fault so there would be no charge for the part or the visit.] Ryan, Seth and apprentice were all very friendly; they took the time to make sure we understood what they would be doing (and in some instances why). They worked well and efficiently and were very careful and considerate of our space. Easy to talk to and we never felt they were talking down to us; when they used in-house 'lingo', they made sure we knew what was meant. Overall a very pleasant experience. While we had been told on the phone when we made the initial appointment that the first visit was a chargeable service call, Ryan discounted that first visit as he had not discovered the need for a second person and thus he had to come for the third visit with the apprentice. We felt that we were treated exceedingly fairly in those circumstances. Total cost includes water heater, booster and plumbing fittings."

"well... the work was done by Ecowater Northwest who is no longer. Reason for the review is that when I stopped hearing from Ecowater Northwest, I found out they were bought out by Culligan. Which is confusing because if you google Ecowater Northwest, you get Wolfer's Heating whose website claims they now own EcoWater Northwest. It seems Culligan got all the old customer files from Ecowater Northwest and Wolfer's got the rights to carry the Ecowater brand going forward. So I called Culligan last year and they found my file from Ecowater Northwest and they said they could support me for replacement filters for the systems that EcoWater Northwest had installed in my home. Great. For a while.
Fast forward to today.. I haven't heard from Culligan since July of this year. The way Ecowater Northwest operated, they would send notices to their customers when it was time to replace filters. I have 4 different filters in my systems and sure hope Culligan is tracking it. The Ecowater RO filters are proprietary and not allowed for sale on the internet - so you are locked in to a Ecowater dealer. Who is it.. Culligan? or Wolfer's? Who's going to continue the maintenance agreement of notifying legacy Ecowater Northwest customers that it's time to replace filters?
