"Called, after checking the List, got Brenda on the phone, who made an appointment for the next day.
The plumber, Leno, called about 15 minutes before arriving (on time).
He assessed the situation, got to work and had the job wrapped up in an hour or so.
The repairs were fully successful. He also gave us some very helpful tips about a few other plumbing/heating-related issues that we will deal with later in the year.
We were very impressed with his hard work and professionalism. We will definitely hire Universal for our future plumbing needs.

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"Browsed Angie's list Monday morning to locate an HVAC repair shop. Selected AirPro based on location and reviews. They offered to have someone on site within an hour but I said it was not an emergency. An appointment was made for later that afternoon. Tech (Dan) called to confirm appointment and arrived 20 minutes early (a good thing). Diagnosed the problem and located the needed part at a local supplier. Because of the furnace's age, Dan suggested doing a CO test before putting resources into the unit. He ran the test and the result was good. The failing part was acquired and replaced quickly and efficiently. Over the next 24 hours, the furnace was back to working normally. I appreciated the skill and knowledge demonstrated in the process, the explanation of the problem, and the suggestions Dan provided along the way. Very professional."

Humidifier Repair questions, answered by experts

It improves air quality, prevents dry skin, protects wood furniture, and enhances overall comfort.

Ideal humidity conditions generally range from 30% to 50%, with 45% considered optimal humidity for most homes. If your humidity levels drop below that range, you can turn your dehumidifier off. Additionally, suppose the temperature where the dehumidifier is installed falls below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. In that case, it's best to turn it off and unplug it since cooler temperatures can cause the unit's coils to freeze.

One handy thing about whole-house dehumidifiers is, once installed, you don’t have to worry about placement or changing the dehumidifier’s position. But if you are using a portable dehumidifier, we suggest keeping it away from walls, vents, and furniture. It needs a central, unobstructed spot with access to lots of air to do its job.

No, air purifiers neither cause dry air nor increase the home's humidity levels. They remove allergens and dust but don't alter the water content in indoor air. However, because some air purifiers move large volumes of air, the areas immediately surrounding a portable unit can feel cooler and dryer than the rest of the home.

There are some physical signs you need to have a humidifier that manifest as signs in your home and body. For the home, Watch for cracked and peeling paint, dry wooden flooring and furniture, excessively loud creaking wooden floors or doors, and an increase in the electricity needed to cool or heat the home. Physical symptoms include frequent dry air passages, Scratchy throat, increased allergy symptoms, and dry eyes.
