"The tech arrived on time (early in fact). I took him to the boiler and he immediately noticed a valve in the wrong position that was causing the problem. Late last year I had a remodel in the home and they had to move the manifold for the 3 zone radient heat. Somehow someone left a valve (by pass) in the wrong position and it caused a noticable nose to emit. He took the time to inspect the entire unit without trying to sell me anything. In the end he deemed the unit to be in sound condition and by finding the problem so quickly, he only needed 30 minutes to complete the job.
