Extensive construction experience in all aspects of building. We are qualified with a GB98 and do everything from common repairs to new construction and additions.
"This is one of those things where you get what you pay for. Let’s start with the pre demolition work. You would think the contractor would properly prep a house for tile removal. They put plastic over the cabinets, but I had to cover the windows and entrance to the second floor myself after the demolition began. The contractor promised complete prep work and that was not delivered. The tile that was installed is uneven, the grout lines have holes and are installed unevenly. All visible issues were clearly marked off for the contractor to fix, however they were not all fixed correctly. I will end up fixing them myself with better quality and care. While the contractor was working, holes were put in the drywall and the patches they put to cover them up were less than nice to say the least. Baseboards were put back like a young child did them. They were crooked and caulking was very uneven. Additionally, the main contractor acted very unprofessional when the issues were raised. He wanted to argue instead of resolving clear lapses in the quality of work. Lesson learned. Spend the extra money to hire a flooring contractor and not a general contractor. I would not recommend them for flooring installation."

"Felipe and his crew did a large project for me (back porch) and myriad smaller items to repair our new home. Short version: I'll definitely be using them again and recommending them, but you need to be engaged. They are not a set-and-forget crew. In general, the quality of the work is high. The porch is exactly as we imagined it and we're quite happy. The only issues I have with some of the work is the fit and finish. Roofing nails missing the joists weren't redone, so now there are nails hanging into my porch. The ramset nails they used to attach the base plate to the concrete pad had some kind of wax/rubber around them which wasn't completely removed prior to painting, so there are weird nubs sticking up on the base plate. Some of the screws on door moulding weren't puttied over. The biggest issue I had with them was communication and scheduling. Felipe forgot a few parts of the project and things got dropped a few times. It worked out because I was paying close attention, but I think he may just have too much going on so things will fall between the cracks. Scheduling was a regular issue. Our project took place right outside of our bedroom, so we wanted to know the night before if they would be there. It was about 50/50 whether they'd give us that heads up. They also broke an expensive high security lock and I was not reimbursed or discounted. On the scale of the project, it was a rounding error in cost, but it's the principle of the matter on that one."
