"The workers arrived one day early and finished the job in a single day. The slab lays even to the driveway making the moving and storage of trash bins easy. Scheduling, invoicing and payment was easy."

"Even though there were a few hiccups on the supplies and their arrival the job turned out to be worth the wait. The Office Pro, Shalali was very congenial and friendly and Heaven and Dave were good listeners and responded to my needs and insured the job was performed with expertise guidance by John, a seasoned installer of the product I settled on. His ideas were spot on, and I am glad I trusted his advice to do a textured deck finish. I gladly recommend HDAC to those who seek a smaller company with skills to get the job done right. Jack and Debra."

"Aside from the delay in making an appointment, everything went smoothly.  He arrived exactly on time and cleaned up afterwards. One edge of the drywall did  not hit the stud so he worked with  a leftover piece of wood  I had  to fix that problem.  All other materials were provided by them.  The gap on the adjoining wall (between the wall and the garage door) was also covered.  Overall I was very pleased with the work.

"My husband has no complaint, so I would that the work was smooth, hassle free, organized and stress free. Very well and professionally done. They will definitely do more works on the property soon. When they completed the work, it was very neat and their was no mess on the property, which was so nice."

"The work was performed in a professional manner during a 3-week period ( except for a 2-week delay in getting started due to the late delivery of the kitchen cabinets).  The work area was constantly kept clean. David Romero oversaw all the work of the subcontractors and supervised the work of his crew.  David was pleasant to work with and his attention to detail was second to none in my experience.  I would highly recommend Streamline Builders for your next building or remodeling project."

Garages questions, answered by experts

If you open your garage manually, you don’t need sensors. If you have an automatic garage door opener, sensors are required by law. The federal law UL 325 mandates that all residential garage door openers in the U.S. must include sensors. Designed to prevent accidents and reduce the risk of entrapment, the sensors should be able to reverse the motion of the garage door within two seconds of detecting an obstruction. The sensors are there to keep you, your family, and your belongings safe from a door that might otherwise come down too hard or too fast.

Costs depend on the size of the garage, material quality, and additional features like lighting or workbenches.

Most garage doors come with their own set of tracks and rollers from the manufacturer, so you don’t need to buy tracks separately.

If you have a garage heater that is 1,500 watts or more, it will need its own breaker. As a good rule of thumb, no appliance should exceed 1,500 watts per outlet for best outcomes. Consult a local garage heating service to determine the power needs for your outdoor or indoor space.

Garage door freezing is prompted by snowfall and freeze/thaw cycles instead of the temperature. If you get a lot of moisture around the garage door, whether from rain or melting snow, and temperatures quickly drop below freezing (32 degrees Fahrenheit) at night, that’s a recipe for a frozen garage door. Winters with steep temperature drops overnight are more likely to create this problem, especially low temperatures to sustain a freeze, so weather in the lower 20s is a common culprit.
