"The workers arrived one day early and finished the job in a single day. The slab lays even to the driveway making the moving and storage of trash bins easy. Scheduling, invoicing and payment was easy."

"Even though there were a few hiccups on the supplies and their arrival the job turned out to be worth the wait. The Office Pro, Shalali was very congenial and friendly and Heaven and Dave were good listeners and responded to my needs and insured the job was performed with expertise guidance by John, a seasoned installer of the product I settled on. His ideas were spot on, and I am glad I trusted his advice to do a textured deck finish. I gladly recommend HDAC to those who seek a smaller company with skills to get the job done right. "Aside from the delay in making an appointment, everything went smoothly.  He arrived exactly on time and cleaned up afterwards. One edge of the drywall did  not hit the stud so he worked with  a leftover piece of wood  I had  to fix that problem.  All other materials were provided by them.  The gap on the adjoining wall (between the wall and the garage door) was also covered.  Overall I was very pleased with the work.

"My husband has no complaint, so I would that the work was smooth, hassle free, organized and stress free. Very well and professionally done. They will definitely do more works on the property soon. "The tile contractor did a great job with both bathrooms.  David, owner, went through the process with you including doing the design and meeting him to order the tiles.  David also allowed me to purchase some of the items (lights, faucets, and shower heads) that I knew I could get a great deal on Amazon and did not have the profit markup.  I also purchased two commodes from COSTCO that also saved me dollars.  There was some delays with tiles but the wait was worth it.  There was also a mixed up with the shower window contractor but we changed to another shower glass contractor.  There were also some unforeseen issues (with all remodeling) but it was handled in a professional manner and a reasonable price.  David was very professional and great to work with.  We are extremely pleased with our two bathrooms.

Garages questions, answered by experts

How often you clean your garage depends on what you do in there and its overall level of disarray. You should clean the garage once every season, though some experts say every month. Decluttering and deep-cleaning once a year is enough for garages used primarily for storage, but if you do car maintenance or other hands-on project in the space, you’ll need to clean more frequently.

In addition to being less expensive, nylon garage door rollers are actually much quieter than steel rollers. However, many homeowners find that they wear out prematurely compared to steel. In general, more expensive steel rollers are more durable. However, their nosiness can make them less than ideal for garages that are located beneath a home's bedrooms.

Without a doubt, insulating a garage door is a surefire way to make your home more energy efficient. Not only does insulating your garage door reduce your electric bills, but it also helps protect your valuables inside your garage, all while making for a quieter interior space.

In regions that drop below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, your car's battery is at risk of malfunctioning in a garage that drops dangerously low. So, homeowners who reside in extremely cold climates can especially benefit from insulating their garages.

Garage cabinets are different from interior cabinets because they typically hold heavier tools and face more extreme temperature changes since they’re outside your heating and cooling system. For that reason, many homeowners opt for heavy-duty cabinet materials, like metal or steel. However, wood cabinets also work well in a garage for storing lighter items like garden supplies, protective gear, and small tools.

When choosing a garage door, start by considering your budget, the weather in your area, and how the door will complement your home’s look. If you’re not sure where to begin, call a local garage door company. They’ll help you figure out what matters, guide you through options, and take care of the installation.
