Came right out and able to repair with existing materials. Affordable reliable and I will use him again!
"Gus Mendez, the owner, was amazing. This was a very complex project repairing cracks in our living/dining room foundation. More extensive problems were discovered as the original 35 y/o foundation was poorly done. Gus figured it all out, removed the old foundation and the 8" of wet dirt underneath and replaced with 8" gravel, then rebar grid at 12", then new concrete and tile. Gus was a highly creative technical engineer and problem solver, and with a highly artistic/esthetic sense. There was really no one else who could have done this, as the only other company that does this had an insufficient assessment for the bid. See photos for the process and outcome."
"The team of Sombrero Construction are very professional and committed to doing the job right! The customer service and communication was outstanding! Sombrero Construction is the only way to go for your future construction needs!"
"I hired AZR To repair the fountain wall and replace the pump and liner. The wall had numerous cracks and loose stones as seen in the first two pictures, AZR came out day 1 and demoed the fountain as seen in the 3rd picture. Where did all of the material and debris go? Not on the lawn, but about 20 yards away in a paved work area I have picture 3. They finished day 2 (Pics 4 & 5). Job was done Great. All water funnels to the catch basin. Outstanding job!"
"Jose did a 50-yard-long cement walkway varying from 4 to 8 feet wide and then installed brick on top. He also did some drainage work that ended up a being a bigger job than we planned due to slope & elevation. He is a licensed general contractor and has a hard-working team he works with including his father who has been in the cement business for many years. They have the large digging & dirt moving equipment needed for the work. Jose was open and flexible with changes I wanted to make along the way. I am happy with my walkway and the drainage work and would use Triple MMM Construction again."
"Pete,Joe and Issac were the best. The repair to my water line went quickly and efficiently. This was not an easy job and was handled fantastic by all three. Office staff was great and a pleasure to work with coordinating this job. Thanks to all at Albuquerque plumbing. You guy's are the best S. Johnson"
"Last spring, when the forest service cleared our land, we noticed the side of our mountain had been eroding over the years. So much so that the porch was sinking. After 5 contractors came to check it out, devised a plan, and then deserted the project, A and E Construction saved the day! Mr. Alan Garcia and his team were highly professional and dependable. A and E built a multi-layered railroad tie retaining wall for support that also improved the aesthetics of our home. Mr. Garcia worked with our vision and made it happen. Many thanks to A and E!"

Albuquerque’s dry climate, intense sun, and soil movement can impact both timing and materials for foundation repair. Check for neighborhood restrictions, especially in historic districts, and review any HOA guidelines. Be mindful of underground utilities and irrigation systems, which may require special handling. Scheduling work outside of monsoon season and avoiding winter can help prevent weather-related delays and ensure better results.

Your Albuquerque home may need foundation repair if you see widening cracks, uneven floors, or doors that stick, especially after heavy rains or during dry spells. Homes in areas with expansive clay soil or near arroyos are more susceptible. If you notice water pooling near your foundation or shifting walls, consult a local expert for a structural assessment before minor issues become major repairs.
Helpful?
Completing foundation repair in Albuquerque offers immediate benefits like improved safety, healthier indoor air, and enhanced energy efficiency. Over time, you’ll protect your home from further structural damage, maintain property value, and reduce the risk of future costly repairs. A stable foundation also makes future upgrades easier and demonstrates proactive care, which can be a strong selling point in Albuquerque’s housing market.
Helpful?
Combining foundation repair with upgrades like basement waterproofing or structural repair in Albuquerque can streamline your project and minimize disruptions. Coordinating these services often means fewer permit applications and less time spent waiting for inspections. Ask contractors about scheduling multiple upgrades together, which can reduce the need for repeated excavation and help you address related issues, such as drainage or soil stabilization, all at once.
Helpful?
Before starting foundation repair in Albuquerque, confirm all required permits are in place and coordinate with local inspectors early. Arrange for a soil analysis to identify any underlying issues, especially if your property has variable soil or is older. Mark out underground utilities and notify service providers ahead of time. Vet contractors thoroughly by checking references and reviewing their experience with local soil conditions.
