I called, got an estimate and hired Barnes Builders to help me fix/remodel outdoor stairs. The stairs went to a studio I owned on the second floor above the garage. The stairs have been leaking and slowly falling apart over the past year. Barnes Builders came in, removed all worn material and installed all new stairs and finishing so they won't leak anymore and honestly, they look great! Highly recommend!

Greg is genuine, thoughtful, and hardworking. He installed heat underlayment and new vinyl flooring, plus updated my outdated (1980's) bathroom. I am satisfied with the final outcome for the price!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Barnes Builders on two major home improvement projects, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. Greg the owner always did a really thorough walk through to make sure he understood what I wanted to accomplish, and make sure all the timelines and potential pitfalls were talked about. It was also really helpful to review the progress of the project with him as the different team members worked to complete it, so I always knew what to expect. The craftsmanship and attention to detail was outstanding. The tile and cabinetry was all custom and required a lot of work around solutions because of the uneven adobe walls. But the tilers, plasterers and flooring guys did an exceptional and beautiful job and it all fell into place nicely. There were minor delays in the project timeline mainly because of the custom nature of the project, but the delays weren't too significant to affect my overall satisfaction. Greg always made sure to keep me well informed of the situation and progress. He and the other workers also always went above and beyond to make sure things were done well and the way that I wanted them. All the members of the Barnes Builders team seem to take a lot of pride in their work, and it truly shows in the final results.
