"I first called another roofer who never came inside to look at the stains or went up on the roof. That roofer said by visual inspection he could tell I did not need a new roof and his company only dealt with replacements. But, he hazarded a guess at what was wrong and said if anyone actually went up on the roof, it would cost around $800. I then called Farina who scheduled an estimate; they arrived on schedule. The gentleman came inside and took pictures of the stains. I received an estimate about a week later and was asked to agree to it or not by email. I agreed and about another week passed and they showed up at my house to do the work, again going inside first to look at where the stains were. The actual work took less than an hour-so far, so good. Assuming that the leak is fixed, the only thing that could have been better was if I was told beforehand when they would do the work, instead of their just showing up. Luckily, I was home."

The job turned out more difficult than we thought it would be but Long Roofing made me feel comfortable and reassured that they would fix everything. I called and talked to Sean Nadeau, one of the principals in the company.and he promptly sent a detailed proposal including the workmanâ s Compensation & General Liability insurance certificates. I then called and spoke to Darby Sullivan, office manager and she was very patient while we finalized the contract. Scott â s Roofing arrived on time, stripped and replaced the roof in the most professional way. Kevin, an on-site supervisor was present. Sean also arrived mid morning to check on the progress. The crew worked very hard and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome of the roof installation. "I had shingles blow off the roof this winter. They were very good about keeping track of the weather and repaired the roof as soon as the snow was gone. They came over fixed the roof, cleaned up and were gone. Very good service."
