They provided a comprehensive quote within a day or two complete with the photos they had taken. I had a few questions on the quote which May in the office tried to answer. Once she was unable to answer some of these questions she had Leo and Ricardo call me. May is very easy to get in touch with but Leo and Ricardo are a little more difficult to reach since they are out in the field all day. Once I approved the quote the were at the house the next day to erect scaffolding. They also were expecting a deposit from me which was never made clear so there was a little confusion there. Our house was built in 1884 so after they started work they discovered the roof was in worse shape then they originally anticipated. They were quick to send photos of the condition of the roof but I was never given a firm price as to what the additional costs would be. They completed work in 3-4 days and clean up was done professionally. The additional work they needed to do was significant and I was never fully made aware of what this was until I received the final bill. I trusted Farina that the price Farina billed me on the additional work was fair. This is based on the other quotes I received from other roofers-all of which seemed either too simplistic of a fix or far too comprehensive and expensive considering the size of the leaks."

"Great! We first met David when he responded to our call to repair a section of our roof after a tree fell on it in an ice storm. After completing the repair we asked about replacing the entire roof, as it was over 25 years old. He gave us a detailed description of his installation process and recommended that we use GAF architecture style shingles. We were impressed with his knowledge and we felt that he was honest. He di not use any high-pressure techniques. In fact he told use we could probably get a few more years out of the existing roof. David sent us a detailed estimate for the new roof within a few days and he answered our questions promptly by email. His crew came on schedule in early April and finished the job in one (12-hour day). We were impressed with the crew, each one worked very hard and communicated effectively with one another. The quality of the work was excellent. In particular, the new flashing around the chimney was done meticulously and looks great. They cleaned up very thoroughly after the job."
