"Narciso and his team repainted our guest bedroom, guest bathroom and did touch-ups around our house to perfection. It started out with very dark paint, and the switch to light colors required 4 coats! And they did a beautiful job. Within 24 hours of calling, Narciso came to our house. The next day, he emailed us a quote. We signed the contract and his team started painting the next morning. The cost was very reasonable, particularly in comparison to another highly rated company’s quote. We will be using them again for future jobs."

"Jesus and his team did a fantastic job painting the inside of my house! They were friendly and gracious, and careful to ensure the job was done correctly. "Company was very responsive and easy to deal with. I had a privacy fence stained. They masked off the house and driveway to avoid over spray then applied the stain with two coats. The two gentlemen who did the job were great and worked very **** ** a very hot day. Fence looks great. I would definitely use five star painting again."

Yes, you can and should paint or stain pressure-treated wood, as this helps prevent the surface from cracking. However, it is crucial to wait for the wood to dry out completely from the chemical treatment process before applying a finish. If the wood is still wet, the paint will not adhere properly. The drying time can range from weeks to six months. To test if the wood is ready, drip some water onto a board. If the water is absorbed, the wood is dry enough for painting or staining. If the water beads up on the surface, it needs more time to dry. You can build with the wood while it's still wet, but you must wait for it to dry before painting.

An exterior paint job typically lasts between 5 and 10 years, though this can range from 3 to 17 years depending on several factors. The longevity is influenced by the quality of the paint and primer, the quality of the application, the local climate, and the type of surface being painted. For example, paint on wood siding may need to be redone every 3 to 7 years, while painted brick can last up to 17 years. Aluminum siding often needs repainting every 5 years.

Stain is meant to be absorbed by the porous wood, allowing some of the natural grain to show through. With that in mind, you don’t want to add more stain than the wood can absorb, as you risk covering up its natural markings. Generally, two coats is the maximum you should do, although very dense hardwoods may only be able to take a single coat.

Rags used with oil-based stains are highly flammable and can spontaneously combust in the right conditions. To reduce the fire risk, throw them in a metal container after use and add rocks on top to secure them. Add an inch of water and seal the container. Take the rags in the container to a hazardous waste factory as soon as possible.

You shouldn't paint a metal fence. Painting doesn't necessarily damage a corrugated metal fence, but these types of fences are meant to flex, and paint can easily chip and break off. Latex paints can address this issue, but those tend not to be very weather-resistant. Certain paints can trap moisture in the corrugation, which can rust the metal and lead to corrosion.
