Happy Hour Moving LLC is here to take care of your move. We think moving into your new home is supposed to be a happy experience. That's where we come in with our highly trained professional movers we know how to get the job done. We pride ourselves in doing our best to make this your happiest move.

"Once again Happy hour moving did it again. Jones, Cody, and Zeb did an amazing job. We were so happy with their service when they helped us pack our storage cubes that we hired them again to unpack once we moved into our new house. They are so reliable and take great care in making sure everything stays in the same condition it starts in. We had a tight turn to get furniture into our basement and they were able to get everything we needed downstairs (including a deep freeze and refrigerator)! I recommend them for all your moving needs as we have not been disappointed!"

At O'Connor's Moving we strive to please our customers. If it's just your Piano, or your entire home we're happy to get you moving. We have our own truck and equipment, but can also load or unload your container or rental truck. We're a full service moving company so packing you up is no problem. We can also do single item deliveries - antiques, pianos etc. We charge an hourly rate based on the number of men we send out. There is a two hour minimum and the hourly rate works in fifteen minute increments beyond that.

"STAY AWAY if you value your time and belongings. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! There are much better moving companies out there. Believe all the bad reviews about Wheaton. BEWARE -> They will NOT pay insurance claims if you buy their insurance. Don't hire Wheaton if you are moving. They have been giving my family the run around, and failing to pay out insurance on $18,000+ worth of damages/lost items since last October, 2024 (8 months now) moving from CA to CO. They tried to blame everything on their local partner who has been fantastic to work with. There is photographic evidence everything was ok when it was loaded. Their driver also tried to charge me for additional/unused/unnecessary services on the day of delivery. They/I have all the documentation proving everything."

We’re going on 20 years in business, with thousands of successful moves and happy customers to our credit. We're entirely locally owned and operated with a goal to treat your goods as we would our own. We can move you across town or across the United States.

"DO NOT USE!!! SCAM!! Absolutely the worst moving company i have ever used. I move once a year due to my job and this was the worst moving process i have ever had. It started off with US relocation quoting me 725$ for 2 men, a truck and for a 4 hour job. Then 870$ for a 2 man truck, them to pack my boxes and a 4 hour job. I asked about a military discount due to my fiancé being in the military and they said it was already a discounted price and wouldn't be adding anything additional. There was nothing in the contract that said it was discounted they just kept saying it was? The day before they wanted to charge me 900$ for 3 men a truck and 4 hours. They are a third party who hire movers for you (did not know this) It would have been nice to know who they hire before they show up so you know the quality of work you are getting.. They had me pay 180$ deposit and was told the remaining would be paid once the job was done. They movers (starving artist movers) showed up at 10:15 AM with a small truck and two men (in their 20s) The men were very nice, kinda slow.. they had no tools so i had to give them my power tools to take my couch apart. They didn't wrap any of my stuff they just took it down.. I asked if they were going to wrap my mirror or make up vanity they didn't... They didn't have any material for it? They were saying due to how much stuff i had it would take a bit longer. I was confused since I told them EXACTLY how much i had and even sent pictures over to show everything. They were taking so long my fiancé helped them load up all the big and heavy stuff to speed it up. The movers didn't get done packing up their truck till 2:15PM. They weren't able to pack everything up so my fiancé had to load the rest of our stuff into his truck. The two men went on their "lunch break" and i got a call from US relocation stating i owed over 1000$ for the move... I told them no and that they set up their team to fail with showing up not prepared and with not the strongest movers.. Us relocation ANDY was so rude and kept talking over me and cutting me off by far the worst customer service ever. Andy wouldn't stop talking over me and added Craig to the call who was in charge of the two movers. Craig was rude and laughing saying his men were burnt out due to having to move all my "heavy things". My fiancé moved more of the heavy boxes than they did. I told them they needed to fix this and refund me in some way and they refuse to finish the job till I paid them. Craig was threatening to leave all my things on the side of the road and have myself move it. Very unprofessional. He told me that it wasn't their fault since they didn't pack my boxes, he stated "you don't pack large boxes with heavy items you pack large boxes with linens and towels". He was saying that it's not his issue?!?! He also said "how about we get the job done and when we are down you start your own moving company and do it yourself, how about you try moving your heavy boxes up 3 flight of stairs?!?!". I have never had this issue with any moving company before. I stated "Why would you take on this job if it was "too much"". It was the worst job i have ever seen. By the time the 2 men got to my new place 3:45 PM they were unloaded everything and my fiancé had to move all the heaver boxes and furniture up himself since the guys were "SO BURNT OUT". The two men moved most of my bags and my fiancé did most of the rest (should have paid my fiancé). They didn't know how to put my dresser back together so they left it for me to do myself, i found 3 broken off pieces from it that i will have to fix, they also had my fiancé put the couch feet back on since they were too tired at this point in the job. The movers said they would reimburse me for the time i paid for that wasn't used. They ended up charging me 7 hours! I got a call on Sunday from Andy (us relocation) about my reimbursement for the hour not spent, he wasn't able to get into contact with them so he stated he would call again Monday. Today Monday 8/28 I had to call Andy at 1PM to see where my refund was at. He said he spoke with them and it would be refunded right away. He asked how the overall move was i told him how horrible of a job it was and he went on to say i due apologize and email is sent to you about your refund any other questions? I asked him why even bother about asking how it was if they aren't going to fix it and he hung up.I still have no gotten an email from them regarding this or my refund. DON'T SPEND THE MONEY!!"

Piano Moving questions, answered by experts

Professional movers take care of safely loading, transporting, and unloading all of your belongings. Many movers also offer specialty pricing for whole-house packing, furniture disassembly, relocating fragile items, and more. You’ll benefit from having a moving team take care of your move quickly and efficiently.

To treat office moving costs as capital expenses, which means recording them as assets, they must meet certain rules: they need to be essential for the business to keep running, directly related to the move, reasonable, and documented properly with invoices and contracts. These costs can include packing, transportation, and setting up the new office. Once these expenses are capitalized, they're treated like assets on the books and gradually accounted for over time through depreciation or amortization.

Gym equipment can be heavy, so it’s best to transport it using a furniture dolly. When dealing with treadmills, weight machines, or other bulky items, hiring professional movers or roping in some friends and renting a moving van makes sense.

You should hire professional movers for moves that seem too daunting or dangerous to handle on your own. The larger your home and the longer the distance, the more likely you are to need professional help with your move. Moving by yourself requires significant planning and time, and hiring a professional moving service can ease some of the burden by taking the hardest (and heaviest) tasks off your plate. There is also the option of a hybrid move where you only hire movers to help lift and transport heavy items to your moving vehicle.

Qualified piano movers will take several steps to protect your piano from damage during the move. First, they'll wrap the piano to protect its finish. Ideally, they'll wrap the piano in a specialized blanket that features a soft, padded interior and a tougher exterior.

After wrapping your piano, the movers will securely strap it to a dolly for safe transport to and from the moving truck. Once the piano is in the truck, movers might put the piano on a piece of plywood to help level it during the move, depending on the truck bed. They will then strap it in place so it doesn't shift around during the drive to your final destination.
