Unfortunately I have neglected tuning my paino for nearly 6 years, so it needed a TON of work. Arbeau Piano was extremely helpful and patient! Will definitely hire again.

I cannot praise Mr. Arbeau highly enough for the thorough servicing and excellent tuning that he gave our Baldwin Hamilton piano. I will definitely use Arbeau Piano forany future piano tunings I need and I highly recommend Arbeau Piano to anyone that needs a piano tuned or piano work performed. His rates are very reasonable and his work is excellent and thorough.
Arbeau Piano was able to schedule a tuning within a week of my first contact with them. Mr. Arbeau was prompt in his arrival for the tuning appointment even though road conditions were less than ideal the day of the appointment. Mr. Arbeau is both a piano technician and a piano tuner, which becomes obvious if one watches him tune a piano. The first thing that he did was to perform a thorough inspection of the workings of the piano mechanisms. He identified a few issues with the mechanisms that he corrected at no additional charge. I believe that most of the issues he identified had been present in the piano from its delivery and had not been addressed by the music company from which I bought the piano new or by the previous piano tuners I had used over the many years we have had this piano. He explained each issue that he identified and why it was important that the issue be corrected. He explained why it was not desirable to tune the piano quite up to A440 at this time and tuned the piano slightly below A440. I agreed with his logic. All of this work was performed at a cost that was no more than I have paid previous tuners that only tuned the piano and didn?t even identify the issues identified by Mr. Arbeau. As an engineer, I understood Mr. Arbeau?s explanation of the issues and am surprised that the previous tuners I had used when living on the East and then the West coast didn?t catch most of them. The piano sounds better now than I ever remember it sounding and playing it is now a truly pleasurable experience. As I said at the beginning of this review, I highly recommend Arbeau Piano.
