"They helped us move an entire kitchen including large appliances. The sent 3 movers who completed the job quickly and took very good care of our items. Very professional and reasonably priced. Would definitely hire again."

"Best movers ever! I felt safe and everything was intact in the move. Joshua was very patient and the staff was polite and kind. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to move without hesitation. I will also use them again if I need to move anything even if it's just moving small items or a large move again. I trust the owner and the staff completely!"

"My wife and I hired Moving Proz to assist us move all of our "big" stuff including tables, chairs, shelves, couches, beds, and a piano, etc to our new home.  We originally thought there would be 3 movers, but 2 guys show up on time.  You could tell these guys had done this kind of work once or twice.  The 2 movers got everything out of our townhouse and into our new home under 4 hours.  Also, the cost was HALF what we originally thought we were going to pay which was a pleasant surprise.

I would definitely recommend Moving Proz for any move that you'd like to have complete."

"The two movers could not have been more polite and helpful.  There were some communication issues with the fact that we had told the company we had a piano and they showed up without equipment to move it.  They were also sent without any floor coverings that we had double checked inquiring about  because we had just had our floors redone.  That being said, they were SO careful and our floors were not harmed in any way during the move.  The reason they were scored low on punctuality is that we had to wait almost 2 hours for the piano moving supplies to arrive so there was a lot of waiting around and the job took a lot longer than we had planned for.   I would definitely use them again because they were very apologetic and made things right when they did arrive. They know how to move and are good at what they do.  I got the feeling this was atypical for them and they were embarrassed that everything hadn't gone as smoothly as usual.  This was the second moving company we had used in the past few months and they were hands down the better of the two.

Some moving companies also offer temporary storage options, as well as unpacking services upon arrival.

Moving a one-bedroom apartment yourself can range from $150 to more than $1,500, depending on distance, the amount of belongings you have, and more. You’ll save money with the DIY route, but the process is much more labor-intensive and time-consuming.

It is best to book a moving company two to three months before your move-out date. This provides enough time to compare rates, organize your belongings, and find an available crew for your desired day and time. While you might find movers with only one or two weeks' notice, some companies require booking up to 90 days in advance.

Planning ahead is especially important if you're moving during the busy summer season when demand is highest. Summer weekends, in particular, book up quickly. Securing your movers well in advance helps you avoid the stress and potential extra fees of last-minute arrangements.
