College Hunks Hauling Junk

A total nightmare that was not discovered until two months later I had another Moving company move my things into my now home. I assumed I was getting professional movers so I signed and initialed the papers they told me to! CH "professional" movers put heavy boxes and I do mean boxes (plural) on a solid glass table and it was shattered, not cracked, SHATTERED! They also put chair and table legs on my leather furniture which now has permanent dents! I called them and they sent me a claims form which I did fill out and sent it back. Then I get an email with the copy of the papers that I signed that stated they will only pay $.60 per pound not $.60 on the dollar for the value of the destroyed table, I didn't even ask for settlement for my leather furniture! I told them that I was not satisfied with their work and assumed I was getting professionals. I assumed they thought I would just let it go, not worth the effort, I didn't and then they told me they discovered I owed them $99 more! I said I paid that they said I didn't, I considered it a form of blackmail, if I didn't send it they could send it to a collection agency and ruin my credit! So I paid the money and wanted a copy of my signature on an invoice that said I owe them $99, not a new invoice that was marked PAID, I wanted to see the original invoice! And lo and behold they just found that I had paid it! They said they would send my $99 back Plus $100.00 for the table. I declined the $100, it is not a fair settlement. I am sure I will never get a decent settlement for my table,but I am not just letting it go, thus the review!

The team worked quickly, loaded the trucks based on what came up to 2nd floor and what was headed to the garage. The time taken took a little less than initial estimate. We also had them come back to the house later on to take some furniture to donate when it didn't sell - that cost us $243.

Estimated it would take about 1-1.5 hours to complete the job there for be a certain dollar amount. Actually took over 3 hours and the cost was more than double the original price told. Since the job was completed I had no recourse but to pay per the employees there. I will not hire them again and feel they did a bait and switch.

We have used them twice now and both times went great. They came the next day and were right on time. They made short work of the stuff we needed hauled off as well as the moving of boxes from our basement to the top floor. The guys were very polite and worked quickly. Would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again.

Excellent work. Jordan, Preston and Robert were very professional, friendly and respectful during the entire move. They worked very hard to complete the work in a timely manner and were very careful to make sure my items were not damaged.

Jacob and his crew are the best. Great attitude, great customer service mentality. They were expeditious, moved as quickly as possible and took great care in moving our office. They are 'above and beyond' type of movers. And yes, we'll certainly use them again and recommend them.

I highly highly recommend. From the start when I called I got nothing but great service. Jacob Horn was our Sales Rep. He came out to the house and gave me a really great estimate. He was right on the mark. He said we needed 2 trucks and 4 Hunks. We filled both trucks and all 4 Hunks ( John, Logan, Jeff, & Zan) were most awesome. They got everything done really quick. They took really great care of everything from loading to unloading. We planned on 7-8 hours and they got it done in 5 hours. Our total move was $400.00 less than the estimate. Will definitely use them again for any moving or hauling I need. 5 star service from beginning to end.

While 2 workers organized a began the loading, a 3rd person was near by and assisted the crew. Jake was polite & professional in assessing the work and providing a fair bid. Logan was with Jake and assisted with neat & orderly loading of the debris. Then, a 3rd person appeared, Zach. He wasn't far & came by to expedite the work. And thanks for returning everything back in it's place upon leaving. Thanks for a prompt & effeicent service.

Great. I phoned the company at around 9am, and by noon a clean truck showed up with two well dressed drivers, who for the next two hours hauled stuff from our basement in record time. By 2 they had completed a job which I thought would take all day, and only charged $300. Any useable item was donated to Goodwill. I will use them again as we continue our cleanup.

The young men were prompt and courteous.  They removed above items quickly and left the area in good condition.
