"I first hired Yellow Rose Builders in 2023 for tuckpointing and they did a great job. That work has held up perfectly with no issues as of 2026. This year I brought them back for more tuckpointing, siding repairs, weep holes, gutters, and a full roof replacement. I worked with Greg and his crews both times. He quickly found the source of a leak others missed and took ownership of fixing it. There was water damage, and they handled the full repair of the affected wall, including siding, framing, electrical, and drywall. While some companies were uninterested in tackling parts of the project, Greg’s team stepped up and got my kitchen and house livable again. I’m truly grateful. They were professional, used quality materials (Owens Corning Duration shingles), and never tried to upsell me. Pricing was reasonable and cleanup was excellent. "I am a licensed structural engineer, and I hired Russ because it was very clear that he knows what he is doing. He properly sized and reinforced new concrete foundations and masonry piers. And, to his credit, he would not build new foundations on saturated soil because soil is weaker when wet - Russ waited until the soil was dry enough to safely build on, to make sure things went right. Russ made sure I was satisfied throughout the entire process. He maintained communication with me so I could plan accordingly for the work to happen. His crew was mindful, professional and courteous. They cleaned up after their work, patched a minor issue with a duct that was in their way, and warned me to close my windows when they needed to sawcut masonry blocks, to prevent dust and noise in the house. His son was part of the team at my house each day and is equally committed to the work. Russ was on site for all 3 of the days required to finish my work, and he came out again at the end to discuss the results and give me my invoice. My single word of caution to other customers is just to be aware that simply because of Russ' expertise, he is busy with other jobs, at least in summer 2016. He will work with you to determine priority and your job will get done, and done RIGHT, but you may need to be a little patient due to his other jobs or weather. Talk with him about this if you are concerned about timeline. I hired him in spring/summer so other work is probably at a maximum during this time. All in all, I would absolutely hire him again and have already recommended to a friend. Russ is committed to making you happy, and his rate was much better than the competition."
