All the work we have had done at our home by AB RICHARDS PROFESSIONALS through the last 6 years has been absolutely top notch. Our most recent visit from their team was for chimney and fireplace cleaning at which they did a wonderful job. Our chimneys are very tall and our main fireplace hearth is massive. We don't know if the previous owners of our home ever had a professional chimney sweeping done, but we are confident to know that all is safe and as clean as possible for when it is allowable in our county to enjoy a wood fire. Over the last 6 years, AB Richards has also done excellent interior and exterior window cleaning for us, meticulous gutter cleaning, and heavy ivy trimming/removal from our home. Our house is quite tall, so those jobs are challenging, requiring extension ladders, expert equipment and experts to get them done right. The AB Richards Professionals team has always delivered. They've never failed to go the extra mile, with regard to their diligence, the care and respect they show to our home and property, and their genuine concern that we are pleased with the results of their work. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of the specialty services they provide.

Bartholomew and Kathy did a fantastic job, again! I am so pleased that I found them to maintain our chimneys. They are punctual and very professional. I really appreciate how knowledgeable they are and how they educate me on the needs and work that they do. Definitely get my money's worth!

Ir was quickly completed and the finished product was very excellent! The cinder block wall was disintegrating and desperately needed repair. A patio wall and fireplace were also in need of repair. The finished walls look like new. It is very a very satisfying job!

It went perfect! This is a great company. I would highly recommend them. I plan on having them back for window cleaning and gutter cleaning.

They are terrific. He and his wife did a great job and were completely thorough. They took their time and did it right and windows turned out great. Was more expensive than we thought, but we had no context for the type of work and it was worth it and we more than got what we paid for. He is a great guy and has done our gutters as well and did a great job. He is our go to for these type of services and we would not use anyone else.

Wouldn't Hire again. Saw a "Gutter Cleaning" special on AL. Called to set up appt and identify price. Was told that a "smaller house" would cost around $150 pre AL coupon. Gentleman came out on time spent approx 20 minutes, charged $215 after AL Discount and attempted to sell us into additional services that we absolutely did not need. Gutters were clean but will complete job personally next time - now way worth the expense.

A.B. Richards did a great job in assessing our roof and letting us know what needed to be done, and was sure to let us know what was a nice to have and a need to have. We ended up needing a chimney cap, and sealing of our dummy chimneys and some other exhaust vents. Bartholomew found us a chimney cap that fit ours, even though it was not a standard size that was made anymore. His wife did a great job of thoroughly cleaning the chimney and was really helpful in showing us how to use our dampener. They even recommended a wood supplier before they left.

AB Richards fit me in emergently. Eric and Kris were top-notch. They came in and knew exactly what they were doing and did the work efficiently. They got a ton of crud out of my dryer vent and duct work. Kris fixed a problem he found with the dryer. And Eric fixed a problem that could have been fatal. The previous owner had stuffed insulation in the space where carbon monoxide is supposed to disperse. We felt so much better and breathed so much better after having this work done. Amazing results.

Bartholomew does excellent work and is great to work with. He's a kind man by nature, it's easy to see that he really cares about his customers. My experience has been that he always goes the extra mile to make sure his customers are satified. I highly endorse the service he provides.

They were awesome! it was cold and getting dark, and they hadn't been done for a long time. They stayed very late and got the job done. I feel like they sacrificed a lot to do this work for me. They were very professional and pleasant even though it was hard to do. I will definitely hire them again.

This is a family owned business, and I was thoroughly impressed. Some of the windows were oxidized and had water spots on them which required acid washing. They came fully equipped with ladders, equipment, supplies, even water. I HIGHLY recommend this company. They were thorough, and worked quickly. I could not believe the difference in the windows!

Fantastic! I called Bartholomew with very short notice and he was able to fit me into his schedule. They did an excellent job and provided helpful advice to avoid long-term roof related issues. Very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend. I've found him to be less expensive than other providers.

Bartholomew and his crew were great! Not only was I able to schedule them quickly, but they did great work. He showed up at the time he promised and had the crew and equipment needed to accomplish the project. They noticed a few minor repair issues with some of our gutters and he was great to communicate with us and discuss solutions and costs. I would definitely hire AB Richards again.

They showed up on time and did everything they said they were going to do in a very professional manner. I would hire them again for any of their services. In fact this is the second time I've had them come in the last week, the first time they did chimney cleaning, repair and sealing of vents and chimney cover.

Be sure you clarify the price beforehand. I paid what I agreed to pay, but I didn't realize what I was getting, and I think the price was dishonest. Bart told me I needed gutter filters and they were $50 each. I said okay, not realizing what they were or how many he was going to install. He installed 12. At that point I realized they were little filters that cost less than $3 each on amazon. I showed him the product online and asked him to clarify the price. He got defensive and told me other people had paid it, he had kids to feed, and he was in this business to make money. I confirmed that I understood he was a business, and as I said, I paid the agreed-upon price even though I thought it was dishonest because I had (by mistake) agreed to it beforehand. But in the end, I paid $640 (he had the nerve to charge *tax* on top of the markup) for equipment that cost less than $35 total online. He came back the next day, trying to apologize and return $90, but the amount was still so far off that it seemed ridiculous to me. I was afraid he would continue to show up at my house and felt scared of him. My husband asked him to leave and he has not returned. He cleaned the gutters, that is true. There were a lot of gutters. He was on time. But in the end, the total price was more than $1500, and $640 of that was for wire filters. So just make sure you are clear on what you are buying before you agree to it. He also damaged a gutter by not securing a ladder that then blew over and dented it. He apologized but did not offer to replace it or pay for it.

Husband and wife team arrived on time and stayed until the work was done. The work was more extensive and took longer then anyone expected. They took care to do it right no matter how long it would take. This brought the cost up but it was worth it in the long run to get the attention to detail.

Very prompt and thorough. They set up, cleaned and then cleaned up their tarps, etc. In and out. But they were friendly, and even found ?a piece of Santa`s red outfit? in the chimney, which delighted our visiting grandkids. We have used these providers for years and they are the best in the business.

Service was reliable and professional. Arrived on the time stated and I didn't feel he pressured me to make any further sales. One downspout was badly clogged and they were able to clean it without having to take it apart.

I talked to him on the phone and he quoted the cost of gutter cleaning. He arrived without consulting me so I could not be there. He kept telling me other things needed to be done--clear the roof of branches, etc. Since I was not there, I could not see if I really needed this done or not. I did say yes to some of the extra services. The whole visit cost me more than he quoted me on the phone cuz I was not there and he did extra services that I had to approve or disapprove when I was not there. I do not like not having a contractor show up when it was only convenient for him.

Everything went well, my only complaint is that my big window in the front had some smudges on it and my front bedroom window was missed entirely. I didn't discover the problems until a few days later and really should have called back and I am fairly certain she would have come back. I just didn't have time. There is something unusual with my bedroom window because she is the third window washer who has missed it completely. I will pay more attention next time. Other than those small items she did a wonderful job and I will certainly hire them again.

The woman who came by herself did a good job but I feel a bit nervous for someone who comes alone. I thought she’s really nice.

They were very prompt, didn't leave any mess from the sweeping of the chimney. We felt very confident in the work performed. Cleaned up good when the job was done. The price was reasonable and made suggestions to put chimney caps on the flue tiles which prevents water damage. Also prevents animals from getting in the chimney. They cleaned our windows today and did a fabulous job. Got the hardware off the basement windows and they are sparkly clean. AB Richards is very professional. I give them A rating all the way across the board.
