Greg and his team provided a great quote for a poured concrete driveway and stamped concrete patio well below other quotes we received. He was very responsive as to the work dates due to rain and the job was done quickly. Greg was able resolve an issue with the concrete color and we get compliments from all our neighbors on how great the job looks.

Friendly, professional, work done on time. I had 4 bids and they came in priced in middle. I had a smaller project done by someone else and Roland's work connects to the prior project. You can visually see the difference in the quality. I wish I would have used Roland for both jobs.

We recently had Rolland Cement do our stamped concrete pool deck and some driveway/sidewalk tear out and replacement. We just had our backyard patio done by Rolland Cement and we could not be happier with the results. The owner, Greg Rolland, was professional and responsive from the beginning when we called in January for an estimate to the end of the project.The price was very fair. It was pretty impressive to see the crew of 6ish men efficiently get the project done at each step like a well oiled machine- they really are a master of their trade. The final product was exactly what we asked for and looks amazing. We were also pleasantly surprised that the yard sustained almost no damage, considering there were massive equipment and trucks rolling through it (they put pads down on the lawn to protect it). We feel really good knowing that it was "done right" and will be contacting the company again in the future for other concrete projects. Just a helpful hint: We started looking into getting a patio poured last summer and much to our frustration, everyone we contacted was solidly booked for the year. We learned the hard way that if you want to get a patio or any type of summer project done, you need to get a hold of the company and get it locked in as early as possible. These companies are incredibly busy once the summer begins and are tackling project after project. So if you begin calling around in June and you do no hear back, it's not that they are being jerks, it is that they have a million other things on their plate.

Greg and his crew showed up on Monday morning, worked throughout the day, returned early the next morning, and were finished by mid afternoon. This was a big job, and one that other contractors we called wouldn’t touch. Greg and his crew of 5 worked hard, were very polite and professional, and the resulting repair looks great. It went great, they were able to get it all done in one day and it looks great. They cleaned up very well, the damage to the existing grass was minimal, less then I expected. His crew worked very well together. It looked like they were working on their own homes. Great communication before the job, would always answer my calls in a very timely manner. Would definitely use again.

MIxed bag...We asked for a matte finish which we were told they would use, as I felt the high shine would be more chances for slips and falls. We did not get a matte finish. He answered our calls in a timely manner and said he really doesn't work with matte finish. I thought he should have told us that at the outset. He sent the worker back, who put another coat of finish on which is more matte, but lots of shiny areas show through. A part of the stamp must have been crushed/broken because the "grout" lines were about 1/8 to 1/4 inchs, but in some of the corners it was spread out sort of flattened to about 1/2 inch. Not a huge deal, but noticeable on inspection. It is pilot error (my fault) when picking colors, as I am not happy at all, even though I went to see another house that had the colors. I chose a gray cement with charcoal colorant (they throw on top to fill in like grout/texture) It just looks like a dirty mess. As expected, they cleaned the area when dry with a power wash, but washed the powdery stuff on to the driveway and the plants we have at the foundation. They came back in a timely manner when called and power washed the stuff down the driveway further, but not off the driveway, so we will have to rent a power washer to finish the job. All personnel were pleasant.

"These customers from day one kept insisting on products that were not available, I told them to go look at a job with the colors prior to start and they did, said they absolutely wanted that color pallet so we installed exactly that, mixed bag is exactly right when it comes to this couple, they are both on different pages all the way thru the process, he says one thing and she says another, we tried to make them happy, but in the end no matter what we did there was always something else, there are just some people you cant make happy but we will continue trying."

Color and texture turned out great. Work was done very quickly and professionally. Contractor built patio exactly as provided in my design with flowing curves and circles. Project start was delayed slightly. Very satisfied with the outcome.
