I have hired Evangelista Masonry Co three times now to do work for me. The first time was to install a new concrete approach to my driveway; tuckpoint around my whole house; and install a beautiful address stone which enhanced my home's curb appeal. This past week I hired Evangelista Masonry Co to repair and tuckpoint my chimney and make some other repairs to my bricks and cement. The owner has integrity and honesty. All the work was done for less than $800 while another company quoted me $3500 because they wanted to tear my whole chimney apart!!! And still less than what two people quoted me to do the work separately. Another company didn't even want to grind out the mortar just slap some more in there. I highly recommend Evangelista Masonry Company and I would use them again.

Contact with the company was good - they responded quickly with a good estimate. We agreed on a day for installation and they were there by 8:05 AM. They were courteous and got right to work. Dave was able to put the front steps in without as much work as expected so he did some tuck pointing on the porch that was not part of the original deal. Everything turned out well at a good price and very quickly. I am very satisfied and would use them again.

Dave responded quickly to my request for a bid and was able to schedule the work within a week (lucky!). Even though his bid was higher than another one I received, Dave's work is top-notch and I feel I got good value. I wish I'd taken before-and-after pictures so others could see the quality of his work. I would hire him again and recommend him without reservation.

Overall, the work went well. There were some small issues with the cement that we likely not able to be prevented. Dave accommodated my challenging schedule very well, and I'm grateful for that. He also was extremely responsive and communicative, which are highly valuable to me.

Dave (owner and operator) provided an estimate (it wasn't the lowest) and explained how he would do the work. Compared to several others that came out to provide an estimate, I felt very comfortable with Dave and the process he outlined to repair the brick exterior of the house. Dave scheduled the work for a week out and did a great job. I also appreciated that he cleaned up after himself. Would hire him for similar work again and I highly recommend him.

I would definitely hire Evangelista again. Dave provided an estimate and all the original discussions were done through email which made it very convenient for me. The job was done quickly and he returned to check on the work and remove the tape and frames. Dave is also very professional and very personable.

My experience with David was phenomenal. I currently live out of State and I was very skeptical about sending money to someone I haven't met. David went to the site multiple times to get the actual measurement gave me the best rate and delivered on time. This contractor blew me away, this was a property I sold last year, the mortgage company had my money in escrow and David was very patient with me to get his balance since Mortgage 1 was taking their time to disburse checks. He did everything he promised and the city gave approval immediately. I will recommend Evangelista Construction Co. anytime.

Excellent job

It went great! Since it was a small job, he agreed to fit it in when he could. I was not in any kind of rush so i was fine with that. He called within about two weeks (while i was out of town on a business trip) and said he would love to get it done. We agreed, and it was done when i came home!

Dave came to house in timely professional manner and listened to our requirements for installing a concrete pad (5'x6'x4") to support a porch lift adjacent to the rear porch. He emailed an excellent bid covering materials and cost. He came to do work ahead of schedule when larger job had to be delayed of which I was so happy to have done earlier. The finished job was perfect: reflecting our dimensional needs and Dave's skill and attention to detail. He even relocated a vine and 8' three-sided trellis for us. Would not hesitate to contact for future work.

Everything went smoothly. They found a brick that closely matched the original, did great work and cleaned everything up. They're busy, so a little tough to reach, but once on the job, everything is excellent.

The work was done well and timely.

Dave and his crew removed and replaced the patio. It is 150 square feet and approximately six inches thick. The new patio has a proper gradient away from the house, which the old one did not have.

I'll be honest, I am picky and hard to please, but I thought Evangelista Construction Co did an excellent job replacing our front porch. Their attention to detail was excellent, the crew was friendly and helpful, and they did a great job cleaning up when the work was complete. Very happy and satisfied with the work done!

They did a very fast and professional job. They matched the bricks really close to the rest of the house. We are very happy with the final product. They answered all our questions and showed up right on time.

Dave and crew were very prompt and courteous. Made the form and mixed the concrete on site and came back to finish job promptly after the concrete had cured. The crew did a good job finishing the step and cleaning up. This was a small job and it is good to know of a company that is still interested in that type of work. The only down side was that I felt the cost was somewhat high. I see this site indicates a senior discount but I was not offered one.

Dave Evangelista did a wonderful job with our chimney repair. He repaired the cap, replaced a flu liner, replaced missing brinks and tuck pointed others. He provided a fair estimate, did the work, cleaned up and was very professional all the way.

It went well.  Started on time, finished on time and Dave keep me in the loop throughout the project.
