They cannot personally service the product they installed, the salt dispenser malfunctioned and they said call someone else. The job was incomplete, imprecise, and nothing but a problem. I would avoid this company and I have never written a negative review in my life."

"This company does not have a solid understanding of the Generac generators they install. I had the owner out last week to repair ours that is less than 3 years old. He left saying all was good, and on the following Saturday it failed to start for it’s weekly exercise run just as it had before he “repaired” it. Same exact error code. Ask him about Generac’s MobileLink app and he doesn’t have a clue. When I told him it failed again he said that maybe his battery tester was bad and that batteries are not included under the warranty. He said I should buy a new battery. I did, for $190, and it did not solve the problem. When I asked about their covering the cost of the battery, he asked “why should I?”. Steer clear!"

"I provided a detailed review on Yelp before I found that I could post a review on the company website. 2nd time using the company and the owner Jim came out both times. In each instance, he found a solution to the problems that could have led to unneeded additional work and cost if he was not honest and professional. The first time was about 10 years ago when he came out and determined all that was needed was some Freon (it's an old unit). Added the Freon, checked out everything else, and only charged a nominal service fee plus the cost of the Freon (when it was about 1/3rd the cost of today). This time the fan motor failed and he gave instructions over the phone for me to test in order to determine what the problem was and how to keep the condensor cooled down so it would still blow cold air (the house was up to 89degrees while it was 94-96 outside. He calculated the cost for the repairs, but I opted instead to go with a new 5-ton unit to replace the 33-year old 4-ton unit I had. He stopped out, measured everything, came up with a full turn-key quote for replacing the coils, the unit, moving the electrical box to put it back to code, new hoses, pad, re-routing the plumbing on the pump used to carry the condensation away from the furnace, fabrication work on the furnace where the new coils would go. That number never changed. No new "discoveries" of additional unforeseen costs. Cleaned everything up afterward. Came out exactly at 8 am with his intern/apprentice and was done and out the driveway exactly at 1:30pm. The work done on the furnace to replace paneling to fit the new coils in looks like it came with the furnace. All clean looking and fits perfectly with the furnace and blower that sits right below it. Would use this company over and over and will recommend him to anyone looking for HVAC or electrical work. I think he has cut back on doing AC units and furnaces - just because of the physical labor involved with moving the units around, fabrication work, hauling units up and down stairs, etc. But, if you want it done right the first time - then this is who you should try to book for the job. You get the story straight from the beginning of what the problem is, what it will take to do the job right, how long until he can get it booked, and a quote that will be right on point and each component of the cost required. I suppose there are times when he runs into surprises when he gets into a job and finds a problem that was hidden behind panels, walls, or duct work - but I never had that issue."

"Randy, the technician for Spa Service, Inc. was punctual, experienced, and professional. My hot tub required a pump install and complete re-plumbing and he did it all in an afternoon. "August 31, 2020 I can't tell you how PLEASED I am to have picked Phillip Matthews from Angie's List. His company is called Elevation Contracting, out of Almont ,Michigan. Phillip is the Owner and Operator of this excellent company. I am 71 years old and widowed and live in my family's 170 year old Centennial farmhouse in Rochester Hills, Mi, With the last storm which brought the most damaging wind and rain it made an awful amount of damage to my roof and the cedar siding. Rain was coming down through my home in the dining room and making its way to my basement. I was horrified and scared. Being alone, I decided to go on Angie's List ( which I trust) and find someone who would come out and help repair my dear beloved farmhouse. I had four companies which were listed and I checked each one that I needed help. The only one I heard from immediately was Phillip Matthews from Elevation Contracting in Almont ,Mi. He was so kind and concerned and said he would be out there to quote and help me immediately. He came out and was the most professional, kind, compassionate, hard working man I have ever seen. He went on my roof and checked the damage and said don't worry I will get this taken care of for you. I wanted to cry. I had contractors before who I called out on different things which I needed help on and they were rude, cold and only cared about telling me how much all the would cost me. Phillip is so down to earth and really is a wonderful person. At 71, I can tell you his parents did a fabulous job raising him. I would recommend this gentleman at Elevation Contracting for ANY project you need completed and done correctly. I give this man the highest recommendation there is. I will use Phillip Matthews for ALL my home projects and have already recommended him to my family and friends. I am so thrilled there are still men out there in this business who will not try and cheat you, and do only what they have to and be gone. "Oasis beat all other quotes, but for a better product. Brian, the owner, took the time to explain the different products available, the benefits, life expectancies, maintenance costs and more. The workers were on time, respectful, professional and cleaned up after each day. We had questions during the curing / brushing process and Brian even got back to us on a Sunday - never complaining! The was work done on a 2009 public Condo pool. Brian is a licensed builder who has provided me (HOA President) with numerous recommendations and advise. We never felt over sold and he actually advised us away from things that could have made him more money. We HIGHLY recommend this company!"
