Prepared area for work with drop cloths, knocked loose plaster away.  Mixed and applied plaster mud  to wall and ceiling areas where needed.  Primed for painting.  Cleaned up area after finishing.

Mr. Peters responded to calls in a timely manner, appeared when he said he would and did the job as he indicated he would. Very satisfied with the service.

He is very good and very prompt. He is a little expensive but is worth the money because I know it will be done well. Having confidence in someone is worth a great deal.

Awesome. They do beautiful work. They show up when they say they are going to. They keep to the timetable.

They gave an estimate promptly. Came on time, picked up lumber and materials from the stores and completed the work as promised. Very professional. Hauled away dirty wood and cleaned up the site.
Could not paint the new wood due to weather and promised to do painting in the spring.

Andy is extremely trustworthy.  He was exact on his timeliness for appointments and his estimates for materials and costs were "spot-on."  His expertise and artistry were untapped resources for me.  He was very responsive to returning my calls, at all times during the project.  He suggested time-savings ideas which in turn saved me money.  
The crown molding looks great!  Just like it has always been there.  The base molding in the condo is much approved ... and we did not have to "rip out" the base molding that had originally been installed in the condo when it was built. It ;looks great!
I was not there when all of this work was done ... I trusted Andy to do it right and it was.  
I would hire Andy again ... and plan to do so when I update the 2 bathrooms.  I recommend Andy for his millwork skills and abilities.  He is focused on his customer's needs and entertains their ideas and wsihes.

The workmen arrived early each morning and worked diligently through the day.  They were very easy to work with. Considering the amount of dust and the number of areas that needed work, they were very sensitive to being as neat and unobtrusive as possible.

My experience with them was wonderful.  He did a super job.  They were very polite and were on time.  They did a very careful job.  Everything turned out the way I wanted it.  The price was good.

Is a rip off.

Wow! By far one of the most professional painters we have EVER dealt with. We live out of state and everything was done long distance and Andy and his team did wonderful. The drywall patching looks amazing and the painting is perfect. They finished ahead of schedule and left everything cleaner than they found it. What a relief to have everything done and he even did extra painting for my sister-in-law to save her time and did not charge us:). Left the place spotless with a lot of extra paint!

Andy gave us an accurate estimate, pointing out issues needing attention.  He started and completed work ahead of schedule.  Bill was as estimated with no surprises, though there were the expected additions for work we approved.

He did an excellent job. I know it was not as much as $1000, for some reason it is $700 in my mind. I did pay for the paint. There were three men who worked on all of this and they were very professional and clean. They cleaned up everything. In one room there was a lot to move, because it is a big room and it has two book cases etc. They were just very professional. I know one man whose work was to be a builder, cabinet maker, he was very exacting. I would recommend them to anybody who is looking for a painter in the area. I already have other work that I know as soon as I accumulate the funds, I will ask him to do. Their professionalism and clean up was excellent. They covered everything. When I clean I drip everything but they didn’t seem to do that at all. They cleaned every evening when they left, they didn’t just leave it. They started over new the next day. I was quite impressed as I have had one other painter who was disastrous. I felt the price was fair because I had  compared some other prices. Previously, few years before I had it done and investigated prices and his was no higher than what I had learned; the one man did everything by himself. Mr. Peters also remodels and does cabinet work and everything. Since it is his livelihood it makes a difference.  They were very prompt; they said they would be here and were here.

Everything is going great. They are a great team. I have used them 3-4 times. The owner Andy Peters is phenomenal. 

They were just wonderful!  They worked very hard and cleaned up very well after themselves.  I had a hard time choosing the color I wanted and he made a great suggestion that turned out to be exactly what I wanted!  I am usually very difficult to please when in comes to colors, but they were just great!  One of the things I really appreciated was the fact that Mr. Peters was always on the job, himself.  He didn't necessarily do all the work, but he supervised, did some the painting, inspected everything, and kept me informed throughout the process.

They also did some exterior painting in my backyard as well, and I would recommend them to anyone!  They are not the least expensive company, but they were certainly worth it!

I have future work I am planning to use him for.

All I can say is Wow!  After reading about Andy on Angie's List, I contacted him.  He came over and reviewed my project and provided an all-inclusive price.  After getting a couple of other estimates, I decided upon Andy mainly due to the recommendations on Angie's list.  Andy came over again so we could discuss colors (he was VERY HELPFUL in this regard), timelines, etc.  Andy and his crew of two other gentlemen arrived on Monday morning and worked straight through for two weeks until the job was complete.  My house has vaulted ceilings in several areas, as well as a few other challenges (some poorly installed drywall, lots of nail pops, settling cracks, etc.) that Andy and his crew repaired before painting.  All three gentlemen were EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL, and courteous which is really important when you have someone in your home for two weeks.  My house looks great!  I would highly recommend this company.

Was kept informed during every step.  Always available by phone, including evening or weekend.  Excellent work.  Very happy with his work.

Mr. Peters was wonderful from start to finish. When called for an estimate he fit us into his schedule right away and got the estimate back to us within a day or two. He and his crew kept in touch and were always here when they said they would be. They were all very professional and neat, they put tarps down throughout the entire house wherever they would be walking, not just painting.

In the middle of the job I noticed that we had another wall that needed attention that I hadn't noticed before, Mr. Peters said no problem and took care of that for us too. I had two other contractors look at our masterbath to give us an estimate before, one's estimate was incredibly high and he wanted someone else to come in and tear apart our tile, the other never even returned our calls after coming out.

We are very pleased with A.R. Peters Home Improvement & Painting and will definitely use them again!

Meet with owner at his house to view completed kitchen with refaced cabinets. Decided on start date. Showed up on time with crew to begin work, stayed at it until done. Threw  them a new request when work was half done, to paint front door vestibule and hallway: they had no problem adding it to work. Quality of work was excellent, and at about 2/3 tds of going price in area. Our kitchen is beautiful. The dining room walls, which had glued paneling, is now as smooth as new drywall. Ours is a builder's house, so some of the initial construction is one of a kind or done differently than most houses. See my note about my living room ceiling. When the work was completed, there was only one small area that needed work, one of the sections of that ceiling. Completed without a problem. I would have no problem recommending them for interior work, and I am fussy about the quality of work I pay for. When other areas of the house need work, I will call them again, without getting other quotes from other firms.

Andy came over and gave a written estimate for painting, and some repair work we wanted. Since another painter came in with a lower estimate, we contracted with the other painter. But after starting the job, not finishing, and not returning our calls, we called Andy again. He gave another estimate, expressed his concern that there may be difficulty with the areas the previous painter messed up which may cost more, and gave a written estimate again. He started on the day he said, and once he saw how it would progress, gave an end date that was accurate. He continues the job until it is done, instead of leaving days in between. I would highly recommend him.
