Shawn was great! He explains everything well and makes great recommendations. He works hard to minimize costs. I've used Spa Services several times and they always have great customer service.

Been using Spa Services Inc. for several years and they are the best! They come out and fix your issues, no hidden fees, no hard sales, just service that is fast, efficient, professional, and helpful. This time 'D' came out with part in hand made the repair, he noticed I had two other issues and explained what was happening and the exact cost to fix them. Because my hot tub is so old I opted to go ahead with the additional repairs as I could see I'd have to have them back again. I really trust them and their advice, they have never steered me wrong.

Randy, the technician for Spa Service, Inc. was punctual, experienced, and professional. My hot tub required a pump install and complete re-plumbing and he did it all in an afternoon. After just a few minutes speaking with him I knew he held himself and his work to high standards, and I was not disappointed. The tub works perfectly! I would definitely call Spa Service, Inc (Livonia, MI) again.

The repair went well, done quickly and on time. The level of service from Shawn leading up to his visit was terrific. While he was on another job he asked me to text a picture of the problem area, then diagnosed the issue and ordered parts based on that.

All is well. I would call them again. Another bonus, a day before they were to do my service call I rec'd a call that the guys were in my area if I was interested in earlier service. Isn't that great? I was unable to take advantage of this offer, but who does that?

I wanted to wait until everything finished completely before I left my review. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience I received from Spa Service Inc. and their repair technician Shawn. I have used this company a few times before in the past with great results and I needed to replace my aging hot tub pump that had developed a leak around the shaft seal. I didn't consider this a big project and something I could handle myself if I needed to. Not wanting to bother Shawn, I mistakenly found another hot tub company, Hot Tub Repair of Michigan and had them order me a new pump. What a HUGE mistake. Chris from Hot Tub Repair ordered me a pump online and had it shipped to my house. I wanted him to install the pump, but he insisted I could do it myself and it wouldn't be difficult. I installed the new pump and a few days later I was having problems with the pump humming and every so often it wouldn't start. I was told I had a 5 year manufacturers warranty on the pump and when I contacted Chris about this he accused me of being the reason the pump didn't work and then told me he didn't even service my area after it clearly states on his website he services Wayne County, which is where I live. He told me I also voided my manufacturers warranty because I installed it myself, which is what he told me to do. Out of options, I called Shawn at Spa Service Inc. and had him come troubleshoot the pump. Within 15 minutes he determined the pump had a dead spot in the bearings and was the fault of the manufacturer and not me. Shawn sold me a replacement pump, installed it quickly and verified everything worked before leaving. Chris from Hot Tub Repair of Michigan still didn't want to honor my manufacturer's warranty and accused me of lying and being the one who broke the pump. Shawn from Spa Service Inc. stepped in and helped me figure out the supplier they used and he spoke to them on my behalf. I mailed the stickers off the bad pump to the supplier and they sent me out a brand new replacement motor at no charge. Shawn and Spa Service Inc. went over and above what they needed to do for me. Don't hesitate to use this company. They are honest, quick, and very reliable. I learned my lesson and won't use anyone else for my hot tub again. If you choose to use Hot Tub Repair of Michigan, do so at your own risk.

Chris from Spa Service Inc showed up on time and did a fantastic job repairing the hot tub.  Due to the location of the tub, Chris had a minimum amount of room to get to the equipment to repair, but he managed to do it.  Outstanding job and this will be my Spa Service repair company from now on!  

Shawn answer my call right away.  He spent 30 minutes on the phone with me troubleshooting.  He even asked for pictures.  He was able to diagnosis and walk me through fixing the problem over the phone with no charge.  I wish I new more service providers like these guys.  Super nice, helpful, friendly and professional.

These guys know everything there is to know about hot tubs and are
extremely professional. Their hourly rates are very reasonable and they
get in and out as quickly as possible. Shawn always made himself
available by phone to answer all of my general hot tub questions, even
after hours. Highly recommend.

This hot tub is old and we are probably going to have to invest in a new motherboard.  Both techs from this company have done everything they can to help spare us that expense (min $800 just for the board) and have spent lots of time diagnosing an electrical problem with the hot tub (fuses keep blowing and now the temperature gauge is messed up).  Shawn in particular has been very informative and diligent in helping us.  Shea in the front office is wonderful to work with.  They are very prompt, professional and helpful.  I strongly recommend them.

Everything worked fine.  I now have them open up and shut down my spa. Every worker that has come out knows what he is doing and has always been on time.  I would recommend Spa Services if you need your spa worked on.

It was a bit pricey, but the tech new his stuff and answered every question to my satisfaction.

My spa was broken and I had a heck of a time getting someone from other spa services to come out and take a look at it in the week before Christmas. Shawn from Spa Service came out promptly -- even a day before he was originally scheduled to come -- and fixed the spa (in part), explaining along the way why it was broken and what we could do about it. I'm definitely going to use Spa Service again.

We've been using them for 5 years now and love the work they do.  I've never had to have them back for the same problem.  They are always on time and when asked, will call me at work so I can head home to meet them.

Showed up at scheduled time.  Knew what the problem was when described and viewed.  Fixed, checked that it was working right, cleaned up and gave us his card (in case we had problems).

When the pump on our whirlpool tub started leaking, I figured we were in big trouble. The tub was installed in a framed deck in our bathroom that offered very limited access underneath. I found Spa Service on Angie's List and, seeing they were very close to my home, gave them a call. Communication was excellent and, after sending a couple pictures of the access panel, they came by to take a look. Two days later, they returned with the necessary parts and the work was complete. We had a new access expertly installed in the deck (they cut out along the grout between tiles - rendering it completely invisible). The pump was fixed and the switch worked. All around a great experience.

Chrids showed up exactly as scheduled.  Hot tub was an older model (10 yrs +).  Diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it.  Double checked his work and then explained the problem, what was done to fix it and left the old parts.  I would recommend them to anyone - expecially if they had an older hot tub.  I was able to get an appointment quickly so we did not have to go without the unit for any length of time.  A pleasure to work with thtese professionals!
