21st Century Window is an independent full-service window installation company (We Do Not Do Repairs). We sell and install windows made by Anderson, Marvin, Pella, Sunrise, and more! By being an independent window broker, we have the freedom to use a variety of window products and innovative new designs. The customers needs can be best fulfilled by having a variety of options in regards to manufacturers and pricing. We also work with your finances and set up a three payment plan during the process which allows the homeowner to budget a little easier for their home improvement projects. Depending on distance to estimate or job a trip charge may apply.

1st Century Window had replaced our windows 6 years ago, so when our slider needed to be replaced that's who I called. There was going to be some extra work to fix some rot under the old slider. I was confident Mark Teufel and his crew would be able to handle it, and they did. We got a great new slider plus fixing the floor was no problem. Our new slider is sealed tight, it looks professionally done, and the price was right.

21st century replaced almost all of our windows recently. He was recommended to us by a few friends who had worked with him. After talking to some of his competition, engaging with Mark was a breath of fresh air. Not pushy, very easy to work with, budget conscious and excellent installation. We had 21st century window out in 2019 and we had half of the house done with windows and it was a very good experience. We reached back out to Mark at 21st century window and had him quote a door wall in the kitchen that needed to be replaced and two windows in our office that were leaking.ā During pricing for this phase of our windows, we learned we could do the mini blinds built in between the glass for the door wall and absolutely love them. While Mark was here he found the leak on the roof by some of the roof vents. He sealed it up and it no longer leaks. He didnāt have to do any of this, but he went out of his way, just like last time when he and Tom/crew were outā¦ They did another beautiful job on our house and we are currently looking at 21st Century Windows to do the next phase to do the front of the house this year. :)

unfortunately, Mark installed a roof on an improperly prepared surface and since then have had shingles coming off. He then said it was not his fault that the venting was proper and if I paid him another 1700.00 he would guarantee any future shingle problems would be taken care of (I have his text to prove it ) well needless to say , more shingles, poorly responsive to calls and finally said I need to pay him for coming and fixing the roof...understand it was less than a year ago he guaranteed future problems and the roof is only 3 years old stay away!!!!!!!

"In Response to Mr.[Member Name Removed]'s comments; The roofing installation was actually completed in 2012, that means your roof was installed 10 years ago NOT 3 years ago. I completed your roof replacement on your residence on the farm 3 yrs ago. What happened with that Timeline [Member Name Removed]?... In total ,96 sq. was completed on the arena, 11 sq. on the livestock. You said I was the only one that was telling you the truth. We have been working together on your roof and gutters and leaks, I have been there for you 7 times at your Vetenarians office and never charged you once. You have been so happy with ALL the mantainence and immediate leak resolution, I always put everything down and zoomed out to help you keep your Veternarian office running. 12 Yrs and you had me do all of your roofs, after completeing your house and picking out high definition special shingle, that i drove all over to find and you loved it and it made your house look fantastic. Your Mansard roof section of your barn is the only roofing of many structures. This is the only problem you have had with any of the work I've done for you over the 12 years. I can tell that you are upset, . When this happened, Before the pandemic, I came right out and told you and pointed out that your vents were closed off and you were over heating. I told you that you needed to open those vents up and cool the roof and you wouldn't have any more over heating. I charged you $1,190 to open up your venting, Not for $1,800 twice. Personally how you could put this complaint in and misrepresent the events and forget all that I've done for you is beyond me. I have an online record that has 305 reports through Angis list, for the past 23 years and i pride myself on the fact that I have an A+ rating that I've worked very hard for. I would be glad to meet you once again to (review), but... I DID NOT CAUSE the small section of your barn roof to over heat... Your painter did. Submitted: 10/10/2022"

Excellent. Mark with 21st Century is very quality concerned. They replaced 22 windows in a 1925 Craftsman style home, with Windows from sunrise window company. The windows are great and the installation was exceptional. Our order went in just before the covid shut down, so there was a considerable delay, but Mark was very good about follow-up and keeping us informed. His installation crew was exceptional.

I am very pleased with Mark and his service to replace my windows. I was able to compare the products of different manufacturers which was my initial reason for obtaining an estimate from him. I felt that he was honest and gave me good advice on windows that would work well with my home. His price was competitive and reasonable and I felt that he listened to my concerns before I made my choice of the contractor I would work with. I can say that his work has been excellent and kudos to his employees on their commitment to quality. They have worked efficiently and they have always left my home and their workspace neat after they complete an area. If there has been a manufacturer's issue or delay, they informed me and have addressed the problem as quickly as possible. I always dread working on large projects in my home, but I can say that this has been the easiest and most pleasant experience I have had with a contractor in a very, very, long time. I am a satisfied customer and I am happy to write a review for Mark and 21st century windows.

The initial installment went great. I already have a review here with this company and I stand by it. However, a little over a year ago, I had an issue with the internal blinds with one of my windows. It wasn't functioning as designed and we couldn't get it to go up all the way. I thought this would be a little repair, but apparently the whole window needed to be replaced. Working with Cody was great and he promised to have it dealt with in a few weeks (This was December of 2020). Then Cody disappeared. Apparently, he left the company for personal reasons and the owner said he'd drop by over the weekend to take a look. He never showed. I called back and he was really apologetic and said he'd come by in the next few days. He never showed. He blew me off a few times and then I finally got him to show up and he said he had to order a new window. Months passed and nothing. When I called him back he blamed supply issues and expressed how frustrated he was with the supply company. I get it. Covid-times sucks for all and supply issues are everywhere. That being said, the guy from the factory finally came last summer, inspected the issue (AGAIN) and said it would be December 2021 until he could get a replacement. At the time of this writing, it is pretty close to March 2022 and nothing has been done. The issue has been going on for 14 months. The window was defective to begin with and I'm at my wits end. So, in short, installation is great, but if you are expecting service after sale, don't.

"[Member Name Removed], I'm sorry that this service was neglected and if you look at my 300 reports over 23 year's, this is one of the few neglected services.-- I know from the beginning of 2020 with COVID, a lot of things collapsed. I never knew or was brought aware of anything about mini blinds. The window company that made these products that we properly installed as you stated, could not supply any of their products any sooner than 5 months. When you called me, stating your dog jumped through your doorwall screen, and told me your awning window over the kitchen sink needed attention. I repaired your doorwall screen on the spot with no charge. When it comes to services i have an excellent record, but this is an exception. The service rep spoke to you last and confirmed the order of your new window. He had a terrible time and wasn't keeping up with his services because he was suppose to go and install that replacement sash. I just looked it up and he has your window sash and it is being sent to me and i will put it in myself. I will be getting in touch with you to get this into the installation schedule ASAP. -- In reference to Cody, as I shared with you, because of health reason's he is unable to work right now. Thank you for asking!"

I was so happy with my first experience with this company, that I hired them again in 2021 to replace a door wall and 2 windows in my living room. The guys who installed the windows clearly cared about the quality of their work, and it shows in the results. My new windows look great and are problem-free. The workers were careful around my furniture, and thorough about cleaning up. I was pleased with the overall professionalism of 21st Century Window, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Chose Sunrise windows from 21st windows because of superior insulation and design. Was a little nervous because their promises seemed to be too good to be true. But these guys over-delivered. Highly recommend Mark ... he came through with everything he promised.

I have been around the block and have had my fair share of dealings with construction companies... I know that writing this review, still wouldnāt give out enough credit and praise to this FABULOUS company! The owner Mark and his assistant Cody, first came to our home and went through all the windows that should be replaced... I knew they were an honest company and wasnāt out to take advantage of us in the least bit... After they assessed the windows that needed replacing, I asked about some of the others to see if we should replace... The answer we were given was; why would you want to waste your money, these other windows and sliding door are in great shape!ā¦ Wow!, was that ever refreshing to hear. In addition to that, we had asked if they would be interested in doing more exterior work for us; replacing some of the old wood around the house. They figured out what was rotting and replaced it with painted new wood. This company came out, and while working, they might notice something small that needed to be sealed up or fixed even... They didnāt have to do the little extras, but guess what... They did and did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!ā¦ We will NEVER, hire another company to come out and do our windows or projects. I am a long lifer with this company from here on out -Couldnāt be happier. The job went fast, the guys, Tom, Alex, Jimmy, and Cody were there on time, considerate beyond belief . They made certain that the property was clean after every single day and made sure we were happy with every single thing that was going in and on for all those days. When the projects were finished, they came back out and rehung our blinds back up. I must also mention that Tom, can custom build and trim out around posts and windows like Iāve never seen... But, he did have his helpers to assist, and for that, I am sure that thatās why and how he can do such great work. Jimmy, Alex, and Cody, BIG THANK YOU to all of you guys to. Iām sure ā Mark- ownerā must be pleased knowing that he has the Best crew around! Happy holidays guys!... Looking forward to having more work done in 2021.

We had all of the windows in our home replaced last week and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! Cody's recommendations for color and style were spot on and Tom did a fantastic job on the installation. The crew cleaned up nicely inside and out before they left each day. They even replaced all of our blinds at the end of the job. The price was great, the windows are beautiful, and we are happy to have a Michigan-based product. The delivery and installation took a little longer than we had expected, but it was well worth it. It was a pleasure to work with Cody and Mark and the crew at 21st Century Windows!

I had 10 windows installed and a new door wall. I had never heard of Sunrise windows so I was a little ambivalent. Once researching the Michigan based company I was very satisfied. My windows stand out in my neighborhood and look very finished with the trim work and caulking. I can tell which neighbors went with the local cookie cutter competitors that you see on TV. Cody was always available and kept me informed on installation dates. The pandemic created some shipping problems but I was always kept informed, and never worried that the work would not be completed. Tom is an exceptional installer and took pride in his work. He definitely made a difference by providing high standard workmanship and precision. It was really an easy decision to choose 21st Century Windows. Many other companies did not know who their installers were, so that tells me they do not use the same crew. They really did a stellar job. I can immediately tell how quiet it is in my house and they really look great!

The entire team was great to work with. Mark is really an affable person, and worked diligently to make sure we were happy with the quote, the work, and cheerfully helped us remedy one minor inspection issue with the city. Tom and Jim worked tirelessly to install the windows on both floors in just two and a half days. The install was in late fall, we really didn't feel the chill because they worked swiftly but with precision and with great results. The price was competitive and the quality of work and care taken by the team would lead us to recommend them highly. Our install was a year ago and the windows are looking and working just as we'd hoped!

I dealt with Cody and it was such a pleasure the entire process! I was in escrow on selling my home and there was a window that was causing a leak in my basement I needed to replace. Itās hard to find a company willing to install 1 window. I felt like although it was a small job, I got amazing customer service as if it was bigger! Cody came to my house to place the order and then he came back to caulk the window to ensure the leak was taken care of in the meantime until the window order came in. Due to Covid, the window took a bit longer to come in so we sold our house before we were able to get the install done. But I felt so comfortable with Cody that I just paid him the balance due before we closed and I got confirmation from him when the window was installed and the new owners are happy with the work! Cody was very easy to get ahold of the whole process and he went above and beyond. Such a pleasure! Thank you!!
