The roof was past its design life when we bought the place, and although there were no signs of leaks, we decided to put a new roof on the house in 2016 - better to get it done before problems arise than after. From signing the contract to the new roof installation took about a month. The installation of the roof was accomplished in one day by a 7-man crew.
