Gutter Repair and Replacement
Very disappointing. The firm was very late in its installation work - months after it promised. Its anaylsis of our gutters was unreliable. and its responsiveness in correcting its work was slow and required multiple calls and emails.

"While I agree with this customer that our overall communication could have been better, I think it's also fair to point out that most of the delays on the job were caused by the 3 weeks of freezing temps and snow in January of 2025. We can not do any installation work when temps are below freezing."

Our self-managed HOA very much appreciated CE's (especially Artem's) straightforward demeanor. CE was able to replace our roof that had apparently been done poorly during its 2005 reno. When water continued to come into our home, they were willing to come back to install a diverter to help mitigate the issue from continuing. We are hoping that it will be effective but we do not yet know for certain until we get rain.

The work was very nicely done and in a timely manner. The communication with both the company and the workers performing the work was very poor. We had to initiate all communications and in numerous cases had to reexplain to he workers what work was to be performed. There was some property damage/loss.

One neighbor highly recommended them. I had to wait for several weeks for their services because they have a long list of houses before mine to work on. I was a little bit nervous to wait that long but in the end it worth it! Once they started to work on my roof I was so happy because all the crew was very professional and hardworking. I rate their work as exceptional. I loved the result.

Also gave you three different options with a checkmark table displaying the differences of what you are getting with each option. Thinking about calling them for my gutters. Professionals.

I have lived in my home for 25 years. Central put my first roof on just after we moved in and it has been a quality roof that presented no problems over the years. When I decided to replace my roof I called out for 3 separate bids which included Central Exteriors. Once again Central Exteriors came through with a very fair and competitive price. Their work crews do quality work and are very nice to work with. They also make every effort to ensure your yard is clean of debris and is left the same way they found it. I have also used Central Exteriors to install the siding on my home which was completed with the same quality of service and at an affordable price point. I would highly recommend Central Exteriors because of their experience, quality of service, and competitive pricing.

I contacted the company through Angie’s List and upon 2 friends’ recommendations but didn’t hear back from them. Do I called directly and was told “Max had me under his schedule”. Never heard from a Max nor the company.

Central Exteriors delayed the start of the job by about two months. When the roof was finally installed (Jan 2019), it proved to be shoddy work. In July 2019, it started leaking during heavy rains (the old roof never leaked). They sent someone out to inspect and "fix" it. Here we are 18 months later, July 2020 and the roof is leaking with heavy rains again. They keep promising they will fix the issue, but just send out "supervisors" to inspect it and keep promising they'll solve the issue. Their lack of responsiveness is blatant. No crew has been by to fix the issue. [UPDATE 7/30/2020 - Angie's List] - since posting the review, the company has sent out two supervisors to inspect the roof and they found the problem. Part of the roof had been installed incorrectly. They fixed it and recaulked the section. We haven't had a heavy downpour since then, but the hose test showed no leaking.

"I'd like to respond to this review as I feel that the grade of "F" is a bit disingenuous. It's true that this roof experienced a leak that proved difficult to solve after the roof was installed. I'm very sorry that this customer had to go through this as we work very hard to ensure that every single roof installation goes perfectly. As much as we would like every single roof installation to not leak, the reality is that occasionally leaks do occur. We take those very personally and do our best to try and fix them. In this particular case, we did send several technicians to the house after the install and a couple of times we thought we had the leak identified and fixed. Just yesterday we were at the house again with multiple crew members to perform a full water test on the suspected site. We believe that once again we have identified the leak and fixed it. If it's not fixed, we will definitely be back. Every single roofing company will have projects that leak from time to time. What we think sets us apart from our competitors is that we are 100% committed to solving those issues and getting them corrected. We never give up and have a 64 year track record to prove it."

Excellent. Central came to my house in July 2015 to do a repair and inspection. They told me then I needed a new roof, I should have listened. Flash forward to June 2020 and we're at it again. Amazingly, they still had all of the specs for my house from the estimate they did in 2015. Two crews came to my house on a Saturday morning and went at it. On the roof about 7, completely done and cleaned up by 2. Amazing job and it looks great.

We bought our house in 2012 in Montgomery County, MD. The roof was past its design life when we bought the place, and although there were no signs of leaks, we decided to put a new roof on the house in 2016 - better to get it done before problems arise than after. Central was great. I forgot to move my car out of the driveway the morning they were scheduled to start work but they managed to make things work anyway. My handyman happened to stop by while they were working and told me it looked like they knew what they were doing, which was comforting. The real proof, though, is my roof has been on the house for 4 years, including the wettest year on record here in the DC area, with no signs of leaks anywhere in the house. This may not seem impressive - roofs aren't supposed to leak. However, both my sister and parents have had new roofs put on their houses in the intervening years - they live several States away so could not use Central Exteriors. Both had leak issues after having the new roofs put on and had to have the roofer come back out to fix things - in my sister's case it took several return visits and some major work to make things right. Central Exteriors were price competitive with other roofing companies I consulted with, and gave me a 50 year warranty on the shingles and workmanship, which nobody else offered. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Very pleased.

Samantha, from Central Exteriors, was very nice. She understood with the upcoming rain, a repair was urgent. She scheduled Walter to come to our house the same day to make the repairs. Walter came out, explained exactly what he was going to do, and took care of the issue. He showed us how the bolts used were too short, causing the issue. He explained that using caulk to patch the holes would have only been a temporary fix, so he replaced the shingles. You can't even tell now there was a satellite dish there at one time.
