Kuhlman's cared for our lawn for the entire time we owned our house (3 years). They not only did a consistently amazing job mowing, but handled other more difficult jobs like finding and fixing buried pipes, taking down damaged trees, and aeration/over seeding. I highly recommend them!

I've been using Kuhlman for 5-6 years now for my spring cleanup and I've never been disappointed. The team arrives on time, they ask questions about trimming certain shrubs, make suggestions and the result is spectacular. I have a lot of flower beds (I love gardening) and everything is trimmed, weeded, old growth cleaned off, edged and fresh mulch applied. This preps my garden for spring planting and allows me to focus on planting new and taking care of existing plants. I would strongly recommend Kuhlman for any landscaping work.

These folks are top-notch. My yard was a bit of a mess after a patio project that left mounds of dirt by the tree line in the backyard. Also, the yard runs wet anyway with a natural creek that runs through the property. JD, the owner, came out to estimate what re-grading the yard would cost so that the water could be diverted away from the house. He was thorough, professional, down to earth and honest. The bid was reasonably priced and I appreciated having options: he gave me various estimates for less versus more work. Ultimately, I decided to do everything at once so that I could put any potential drainage issues to rest. The team came out as scheduled and they handled it all very well and efficiently. They definitely knew what they were doing and they instilled me with confidence from the start. The project took a day and a morning, and my yard is now BEAUTIFUL. I am so glad the boys can play in what was a mud pit. And now we all can appreciate the landscape without having to worry about water being where it's not supposed to be. I'm so glad and grateful I chose this company to help us with our home. They were terrific!

Have worked for my homebuilding company for over 10 years and done work for me personally for 20 years and always done excellent work and very responsive to varied requests.

I am very pleased with the work the crew did. They were thorough, neat, and did exactly what the foreman told me they would do. They could not have done a better job. The company communicated well, showed up on time, worked until the rather large job was done, and left the area where they had worked spotless. I won’t know for sure if everything works as I expect it will, until the next big rain. If I have any problems, I will update.

I got an estimate within a few days, and service began a few days later. It was a great, no-hassle experience. I plan to continue with them permanently.

The crew from Kuhlman lawn service did a great job doing the spring mulching and weeding from my front yard. They also edged everything very neatly and everything looks great. We will hire again next year.

Last Spring (2018) I had Kuhlman aerate and reseed my yard. While the initial service went well, after about a month I noticed that there were places in the yard where the new grass did not come in. I called Kuhlman twice after about 6 weeks and 2 months , and both times they told me to wait, that it could take longer, and that they would follow up to see if the grass had fully come in. They never followed up. Also, I called them in August to see if someone could come by and have a look at the lawn. I still have not heard from them. After the amount spent, I find this to be very unprofessional and hence I unfortunately feel that I must downgrade my review of this firm which was initially positive.

Exactly what I wanted - a quality job done by diligent workers who went the extra mile for us. Great work! I will use Kuhlman Lawn Service again and again after this.

Crew has always been courteous and helpful, scheduling is easy and Julie is always accessible through e-mail and is quick to reply.

From start to finish, Kuhlman Lawn Service is one of the most outstanding companies we have ever done business with. Coordinating with Julie Kuhlman and finalizing what we wanted for our yard was easy. Julie is quick to respond by email or phone, was always pleasant to talk with, and kept us up to date on when we could expect the work to begin. We added a couple of things to the original plan, and she let us know changes in cost immediately. Owner JD Kuhlman helped design our backyard area, transforming it from an eyesore into a space we can use and enjoy. Getting to our backyard for work purposes isn't easy and involves going up steps and through a narrow gate, which meant that no large equipment could get back there. The Kuhlman team did this job by hand and fast, in the rain, over the course of two days. The team was extremely nice and worked through the weather to get it done. They did a fantastic job. We are planning to hire them for some additional work in the coming weeks. We priced this job with another company prior to finding Kuhlman and got a much better price - and nicer people - through Julie and JD. Very happy we found them.
